Smokin Joe's Meats & Deli — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I took my 5 year old for ice cream and cherries, he spit out a piece of glass that was in his ice cream. The store told me it was most definitely from the manufacturer of the cherries and not them personally, as they do not even use any type of glass items in the ice cream shop. She asked me to bring the glass back to them and they can reimburse me.. like I want my few dollars back in exchange for the glass lol but didn’t even seem to take full accountability for what happened. Not sure what compensation you can give for glass in ice cream. Pushed off as if it was the factory's problem and not theirs.. luckily my 5 year old spit it out because biting or swallowing it or else we’d be having a whole different conversation. The lack of accountability is insane for the situation. I will NEVER go back and recommend you stay...

This is definitely a hidden gem small general store. The store has great selection of meats even harder to find . They have great fruits and veggies for a small price. They offer meat packages where you can call and get a package and if you don't like something they will work with you on trying to find something comparable. Also a part of the store is the ice place on the side with so many decisions I say eat your heart out Baskin Robbins with over 50 different shakes and smoothies what a treat. They even found something for my daughter that is lactose intolerant..The ice cream is delicious and the baked goods are made there and the canolies delicious. They also have cakes you can order or grab one and the can do the writing on it for you. Definitely a hidden gem and...

TERRIBLE. Very displeased. If you're going here for sandwiches, KEEP DRIVING. (Sandys deli in hamlin or GVO stop and go has MUCH BETTER service) Used to go here frequently for meats, will never return and will advise others to do the same. Customer service is awful they insist on you taking premade sandwiches are argue over making new ones. Managements wife is of no help, she justifies staffs rudeness - what happened to good customer service and wanting to help customers. Sandwiches were soggy and disgusting.
