Golden Nugget Seafood — Restaurant in Jefferson

My son and I are in Europe. I called the Golden Nugget from London to set up a meal for my youngest daughter, her family and friends for Saturday night, who are visiting our place in Jefferson for the weekend. The Golden Nugget has some of the best seafood in Chesterfield County. Appreciated them working with me on the telephone making the arrangements. One of their friends commented that "The Nugget is Golden!" For a first timer, he got that right! Highly recommended.

We came in towards the end of the evening at 8:30pm. We were welcomed in with no delay. All the food came out smoking hot. Lots of things were said to be made in house. The cocktail sauce was phenomenal! Onions rings had some char on the onions. The only negative was the salad bar was messy. I asked if she could replace the tongs, they were uto they were...

Took my mom..not crowed for a Friday night. Ordered a combo. Platter, Flounder, green shrimp and scallops. Fish was EXTREMELY overdone on the outside but mushy on the inside. Shrimp was good. Once one has dined at the Cedar River Fish Camps in Florida.....nothing else EVER...
