Mini rant ahead* I chose to update this at least temporarily, at least until I figure this out... last reviewed close to a year ago, although I'd been in since. I'm still happy to say my food, as well as my friend's, was very good, including the cheesesteak for takeout. My major issue here was literally over their coleslaw, which I love. A side of it is $4. I do not know how much(Oz) you get when you dine in. I think the portion size is skimpy. But knowing that the sandwiches include fries and coleslaw, I specifically asked for the jalapeƱo variety with the to go instead, expecting an upcharge. What I ended up with was a 2oz plastic cup of regular slaw(about 2 tablespoons) which I did not want, and a 4oz plastic cup, about half full. About 3oz. I was still charged full price. That's just wrong. That's what I get for not fully checking my boxes and receipt before I leave. Let me assure you it won't happen again... also, ask before pouring that first mixed drink, I'd very much appreciate a regular glass, not a pint, for something other than beer. I'd expect that from a college bar where people regularly drink too much and throw up in the parking lot, but not here. Jan. 15 '23* Out for a quick dinner on the way through the area, wasn't crowded 5pm... I'm not much of a sports fan, but I appreciate different stations on their many TVs, so you have a choice. 5 separate channels on... the place is well kept and looks clean. A lot has changed here over the years, but their food quality hasn't- still as good as ever! I didn't know if I should order anything fried, I've had good and bad recently(not here). But the occasional calorie splurge is ok, right? I got the cheese steak egg rolls. Fantastic. Crispy on the outside, nice amount of chewy inside, fried perfect, not dripping with oil. They are good by themselves, but the included sriracha ketchup is a nice addition. If spicy ketchup isn't your thing, try them with their hot honey garlic sauce- also a great flavor combo. I also couldn't pass up a side with that...who puts bacon and kick in their coleslaw? These guys. These guys do. The bacon jalapeƱo coleslaw is a must have if you like coleslaw, and a must try if you don't! People who don't even like coleslaw can be converted because of this you know... the sriracha version is tasty too. (2 flavors? Whaaat?) Creamy, crunchy, and not at all watery like most typical slaw out there. I was a little bummed because I thought the portions were a bit small, but quality over quantity... great friendly service too. Next time I'll go the seafood route...

The Tipsy Turtle Market Street Pub is a small and cozy place that mainly serves bar food such as wings, burgers, fries and sandwiches. We arrived on a Friday night between 6:30 - 7 p.m. and found one of only a few tables available. We were greeted promptly and ordered drinks. The New Belgium Atomic Pumpkin beer on draft was very good and packed some heat from the habanero, chili, Aji and del arbol peppers. A truly interesting and satisfying brew.

I ordered a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo, which was hearty and perfect for a cold winter evening. The Cajun chicken was tender, the Andouille sausage was tasty, and both didn't overpower the gumbo with extraordinary spiciness.

I ordered six of the spicy PB&J chicken wings as it piqued my curiosity. Think of it as chicken in a sweet peanut sauce. The sauce was pasty but flavorful and enjoyable. In case those wings were a bust, I also ordered a half-dozen wet garlic parmesan wings, which came in a red sauce. All in all, both types were delicious, with every wing having plenty of meat on the bone.

The Kickin' Chicken sandwich was also a good choice, with tender chicken bathed in a wing sauce of your choice. The sandwich came with tomato, lettuce, shredded mozzarella on a toasted focaccia bun. The side of fries were a bit soggy, however.

Overall, the dining experience was quite pleasing and worth the time. The only drawback of going on a Friday night was the parking. The lot behind the venue was pretty tight, so one may want to visit The Tipsy Turtle just before 6 p.m. Otherwise, you may have to find parking...

Since I’ve moved down here I was having such a huge issue with trying to find a place with great food and service. That was until I was introduced to tipsy turtle by my boyfriend. I’m a little picky but I love my Mac and Cheese so we ordered and I got the sweet hot Mac and Cheese but with some alternations to fit my taste buds and omg was I blown away! Not just by the AMAZING food but also the AMAZING staff. Instantly I started ordering weekly sometimes 2-3 times per week I was in love. Within a short period of time the staff learned my name and order to the point where I call and once they hear my voice say ā€œI’d like to place an orderā€ the girls start laughing and say ā€œfor Brittany?ā€ Then they take the time to go through the order with me because they know how particular I am! I want to give a special shoutout to April, Maddie, Ella & Carey for always making sure my order is to my liking and memorizing it! Lol if I missed anybody I apologize and thank you as well! The pound of turtle bites is with the can’t miss PG Hot sauce extra crispy and if anyone is wondering the special order is the Sweet & Hot Mac & Cheese but instead of the sweet hot grilled chicken I get the Parm Garlic Hot turtle bites extra crispy with light...

I love the Tipsy Turtle Market St in Jenkins Twp. I have been visiting there since May 2018. I find their clams to be the best in NEPA. Thursday nights they serve Rhode Island Steamers for $5.50 a dozen. They have 42 wing sauces to choose from, my personal favorite are the pbnj and red garlic parm. Their cheeseburger soup, bavarian sticks, fish bowls, and fried ice cream are other favorite of mine. Jordan and Brittany bust their butts when I am in there and its a very clean, and welcoming environment. The turtle also offers vegan options, just ask! I am never disappointed when I visit the turtle, and Im going to have to make a visit to the other 2 locations. -Tiff Kline of @Klines Korner
