Great service from friendly staff and a great atmosphere and decor for kids! Now the bad news- the food. The sausage was not made in-house (probably Eckrich from Costco)- which would've been okay if it had been prepared properly- but it had merely been heated and was served warm, not charred on a grill, but maybe kept in a steam tray- unappetizing. The ribs were good- order those and nothing else if you come here. The brisket was tough, fatty, greasy, and not what is called "barbecued"- it was cooked too quickly, not smoked for a long time, so there was no pull-apart tenderness that one wants in a brisket. Beans and potato salad were average, just okay. This is one of those reviews I feel bad about writing because the lady serving us was a doll- but the cook here either doesn't know how to prepare barbecue, or is doing it on the cheap, trying to save both time and money in the preparation by using cheap cuts of meat and not putting in the time (and wood)...

First I would like to say the staff is phenomenal they’re so friendly, amazing and nice. I have been wanting to try this location for the longest and I can honestly say I’m heartbroken. So I ordered the three meats plate with two sides. The brisket had barely no meat just all fat extremely greasy but had a nice char flavor. The ribs was just nasty, didn’t seem to be cooked all the way and it was nothing but fat on the ribs. The links was OK just wish they were actually barbecued because they seem to be boiled. The potato salad was good just need to cook the potatoes just a lil longer because they were extremely firm but had a great taste. The barbecue beans was phenomenal. The bbq plate i got was 2 meat and 2 sides also got a brisket sandwich for my coworker. I got the brisket and sausage, not a fan of what I received. The brisket was tough and extremely fatty whoever was doing the cuts must not have much experience because the cuts i received were more fat than actual meat which is a bit of a ripoff. Meat was dry and disappointing. Sausage was ok cooked well and good flavor. I enjoyed the potato salad and beans they were both good. BBQ sandwiches usually aren't the fanciest but this one was not good at all. It was on regular sandwich bread and again the meat was dry and tough not much flavor to it.
