Where to start on this terrible experience.. As we walked in a couple sitting in the booth behind us walked out stating they had been waiting for drinks over 30 min. Mind you it isnt to busy. We get seated got one round of drinks and never seen our waitress again the whole time there. It took almost a hour and 10 min to get 2 meals! When we finally received our meals both were so cold it was like they sat for 20 min in the window! I had to get the bartenders attention for not having drinks or our food after so long to even get our food! Seemed like we were seated in the bar area and they only concern was the back room. Went here for the first time today. Had the lunch special (double cheeseburger with fries). Food looked and tasted great. Service on the other hand, could have been better. I get that it was busy for the two people working on the floor, but my server didn't come to see how food was after bringing it out or if I wanted a refill on my drink. Waited for over 10 minutes for my ticket to pay and a good 5 or so minutes for her to come take my payment. I went to the bar to pay, but she couldn't take my payment and had to go and get my server. Only saw server was when she was bringing food out or taking orders. Just seemed very unorganized. Great experience all around at charcoal house. First night got the $10 hamburger and fries special. The burger has a unique seasoning flavor that really makes it stand out. The fries were the perfect amount of crisp firmness. I liked it so much that I came back 2 days later and tried the kabob peppercorn steak. It was good and cooked medium just right. A surprise that was better than expected was the side salad with house made dressing. It was really good! Staff was very pleasant.
