Updated: revisited as I saw some new drinks added to the menu. They're definitely making great strides into variety and great flavor pairings! Tried some new drinks and was incredibly happy with them.
I really want to see them succeed. Joliet could do with more new places like this. The drinks we ordered were tasty and enjoyable. The first four drinks on the order kiosk all felt like they had the same 4 base ingredients, and the exact same yellow color in the pictures. It's hard to pick a drink when they felt so similar.
I'm sure we could've ordered in person, the staff was very friendly, but the kiosk requires a topping to be picked. The topping in the drink we ordered was supposed to have a topping that was out of stock and the kiosk made us pick a different one instead of just not getting it.
The decor is very fitting and it looks very nice inside. The wall next to the counter has a huge vacant spot where the QR code for the menu is. I completely understand new business not wanting an expensive menu board or tv. But even like a chalkboard (or cb paint) to do a menu of some kind would be really helpful and appealing. I get it's a modern world, but accessibility really plays into this.
I really hope to see the business flourish and grow with more drink options and flavors. Possibly even more drinks utilizing the Milk options available (non-dairy included). I've probably visited too many boba places at this point honestly and you definitely have the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe customer service was amazing, me and my partner from superior ambulance came by earlier today and the workers were on it including the manager. They told us the tapioca would take 20 mins or so which we then waited and they were ready for when we came back in. The lounge in the restaurant is comfortable and spacious with music I even saw a family with their kids dancing. Now I wanna give some suggestions, now this might be nitpicking but honestly for being a company that just opened in June/july, they have a lot of potential the only things is, the ice was lowkey a lot for the regular and large since the cups are fairly medium size and barely a big difference even with cost. And with the drink I got which was the Brown sugar drink, it was pretty good just think I was expecting it to be a little more sweet, now if you donāt like your boba sweet fr then thatās okay bc they do have a lot of different option. But mainly if you guys make your drinking a little more sweet or have an option to make your drinks a little more sweet and ask to see how much ice someone wants if itās their first time bc it was a lot. But other than that thank you guys for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went here today at around 5 pm and paid thirty dollars for four drinks. All four of these drinks were supposed to have pearls.
The woman working told me that she ran out of tapioca pearls for one of the drinks and if Iād be alright substituting for jellies or popping boba. I was fine with this.
After receiving my drinks, I realized that none of them had boba. Not watermelon popping boba, not tapioca, absolutely nothing. Only the one I substituted jellies for actually had the jellies.
The drinks tasted fine, but no boba at a boba shop with no apology or warning is outrageous. These drinks are advertised with boba. I shouldāve been informed ahead of time for all of the drinks, not just one.
Worse of all. They didnāt give my little brother his shark gummy.
I wonāt be...
