Starbucks — Restaurant in Joliet

I had such a great experience at this Starbucks thanks to the amazing shift supervisor, Sammie and her team! I was feeling indecisive about what to order, but Sammie was so tentative and kind she helped me craft the perfect drink that ended up being absolutely delicious. Even though the store was super busy, she stayed calm, professional, and jumped in wherever she was needed without missing a beat. What really stood out was her hospitality, she even brought my drink over to me while I was working in the lobby. That kind of thoughtful service is rare and so appreciated. 10/10 experience! This is a newer location that I’ve been excited to try. I get Starbucks every single day. Sometimes more than once. I mainly only get the strawberry açaí lemonade. Today when I got it at this location it had an awful taste. I think it’s coffee taste. I would have brought it back but I was on my way to work and by the time I tried it, it was too late. I’ve never had this taste before it was just awful. The color of the drink was still pink so I do not know what caused the flavor but it went in the trash and it’s disappointing considering I paid $7 for the drink just to go in the trash. Ruined my day. Idk if I’ll be back to that location...

Usually one would consider me a hard-to-please customer, but this location is by far the best I've come across. The nice man named Zeek went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience, so much so that he ended up paying for my drink through the drive through. It was extremely kind, I was having an awful morning and this young man's act and the entirety of that crew was just phenomenal to me, I can not imagine a better experience at Starbucks.
