The atmosphere of the place, as long as you can eat outside, is why we go. We typically have a good server. The wait for the food varies, but it's usually on the slow side. Overall, the food is good, but a little pricey for what you are getting. You have to pay with cash, but they do have an ATM machine. The issue is every other time we try to go, they are closed. Sometimes they will have private parties posted to their FB account, but we've found that we can't count on that. We often call before we leave because it's a 25 minute drive, but even that may take several attempts because they don't always answer the phone. Last night we were turned away an hour before they closed because the kitchen was too backed up. I understand that places get busy and events can happen, but it's become more of the norm rather than the exception that you can't rely on getting...

We have been there twice. The first time we were there was for a meeting. I had the sweet and spicy wings and onion rings. My husband had the jalapeno burger. We were impressed. The staff is very friendly and looks to me like they work hard. The second time we were there I wanted the blue cheese burger. They had run out of bleu cheese, so I decided to get a different kind of wings. I got the butter and garlic wings. I was not impressed with them. The wings themselves are cooked perfect, but tossing them in butter then sprinkling with garlic powder or granulated garlic wasn't the answer. I won't order those anymore. But that being said, it's a good place to go for a quick bite to eat. Will definitely be back. Staff is very good at...

Bar food by the stream. Sandwiches, burgers, wings, and apps. Full bar inside and out. Open every day, closes when they want too. Call first, if travelling to the sticks of Wilcox for food.

Restaurant in August was opened to the deck. The fog was rolling in off the creek which was interesting. The staff was cleaning/closing up the deck when we were there on a Sunday at 820PM. Seems they have music earlier in the day.

Mosquitoes like to bite, so prepare. Staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely like each other. Teamwork was evident and they were attentive even as the food was shutting down at 9PM.

Food was fine. Drinks were fine. Price was fine. Could have used the ceiling fan to be running on the blazing...

Went there Friday evening and they were busy. Even though there was limited seating because of Covid service was very very slow and staff appeared overwhelmed. Some people were served in a timely manner (they arrived after us but were served before us). The food and drinks were good once we got service. Dined outside next to the river, a beautiful setting. Might give them another chance, probably not.

The Dam Inn is an incredible restaurant tucked away in a picturesque setting. The views are spectacular. If the weather is nice, make sure you sit outside on the patio. The service is always friendly. And the food… well everything is incredible! Plus, they have a large room for wedding receptions and other large events!! I highly recommend the Dam Inn!!

An Elk County staple. The atmosphere is always good here; full of energy, but still relaxed. The food and drink are great with lots of options for each. This is also the prime location in the area for a wedding, reception, or large party. I personally used the reception hall for my wedding an had an excellent overall experience.
