T & L Diner — Restaurant in Jonesville

We like to stop at local places when we are riding thru small towns and decided to try this place. The smell of the food cooking could be smelled outside and I was thinking we are in for a good meal. We entered the building and stood at the counter waiting to be seated. Two ladies working and only one other person in there eating. Both ladies passed by us two different times and never once smiled or spoke to us. I waved and smiled trying to show that we would like to be seated. Neither of the ladies seemed to be interested in our business. I told my son lets go. I figured if they acted like this now then the service wouldn't have been an better. Maybe because we wasn't locals? Or maybe because of another reason. I will try them again in a few weeks and if the service and food is good then I will...

Working nearby, we stopped here for lunch based on other reviews. Don’t be fooled by the outside when you pull in, this place has some great food and what’s even more incredible are the prices. Clearly a mom and pop style restaurant with some great meals that give you that old home-cooked meal from your childhood kind of nostalgia. The staff were very friendly, and I’m pretty sure the entire town came here for lunch, but you wouldn’t know it with how quickly and efficiently they were able to serve their customers. It’s no wonder people flock to this establishment. I had the double cheeseburger, it was substantial and juicy, just how I like it. The fries were crispy and the lemonade was refreshing. I live in Charlotte NC and I was going to try this restaurant but yesterday when my sister told me how they treated her I promise you that will not happen...my sister has been so sick from Chemo and Radiation and hasn't been able to eat so when she went in to order because she was picking up a couple extra plates for someone else that has cancer they gave her a hard time about calling it in...my sister is the most sweetest person you want to meet and I feel like if this is too much for you maybe you're in the wrong business... Absolutely Poor Poor...
