We decided to try out Chile Banderas for the first time, but had to do other errans,so we went thru the drive though. The first lady that went out said, use the bar code to get a menu. Don't do that to the older generation, they have no clue about technology. We were very hungry, but the drive thru took literally 30 to 40 minutes to get through it and get our order. While still in line, a second lady came to get our order,by this time,we were in front of the order board,so we could see and order what we saw on it. Then,a third lady appeared ,to get a payment, and it had different % for tips,so I asked her,how much is 26%, and she said, poke it and it will tell you, then, you can go back, but it never went back, but added the amount to my bill. Most of all,she never even gave me a receipt,so I sent a friend to go get me a receipt and the tip of 7 and chage, for something that didn't work for a tip,but cost me time and money. Don't get me wrong,if a waitress works hard to serve you, they deserve a tip,but not one who just wrote a order on a tablet,or inserted a card to charge you. Finally, honesty is a big deal, when a question is asked, and that person deceives others by wrong info to begin with. My advice is,enlarge the drive thru to 2 lanes,to speed up service orders. Also, place 2 works at the window to give the meals out,so it can really be a drive thru, not a slow thru. All else is great, for you got great meal and prices, but that drive thru will make you lose lots...
Read moreI found Restaurante Chile Bandera on Google Maps and decided to make the 45 min motorcycle ride to check it out…I’m glad I did. The first thing I noticed was how friendly the employees were. Everyone that made eye contact with me smiled. Their menu has quite the selection. I decided on the 50/50 Burger. It comes with a nice size hamburger patty with a good slice of brisket, BBQ sauce, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles and mozzarella cheese, on a sourdough bun. I had them put a fried egg on it also! The 50/50 is delicious. It a big burger so get ready to open wide..as it should be! Also, it’s just a little juicy, finger licking good…as it should be! For desert I had Sopapillas, which come with honey, chocolate sauce and whipped cream for dipping, yummy! I absolutely recommend Restaurante Chile Bandera, and I’m definitely going back. I think you will enjoy the friendliness and tasty food. Oh! I forgot..the onion rings were not greasy and had a nice...
Read moreI went through the drive through and ordered the day old tortilla packs. At the window, I told the young lady that I had ordered 2 packages of day old flour tortillas. The older young lady asked how many. I told her, "2 packages." She charged me $4.44. She gave me the 2 packs and a taco of potato and egg with bacon. I told her I just wanted the tortillas. The older young lady, gave me my money back and said, " We are going to throw the taco away (staed twice)." I told her that I didn't order that. She said, cThey don't listen!" I told her that they need to repeat the order and I was listening. She closed the window. I didn't get a receipt or ask because she closed the window on me! They need to pay attention, repeat the order, and make sure to...
