We stopped in this place after our beach day and were hoping to be able to have a great lunch. They have both indoor seating with air conditioning and outdoor seating. We chose to go inside. Since we are on vacation we were in no rush but the food service was a tad slow. No big deal we are on vacation. We ordered the half surtido which is an appetizer sampler; although it was half, it was still a large portion. It brought fried pork chunks, chicharrones de pollo, empanada, cheese balls and mofongo balls. The sampler was very good! I ordered the carne frita, which I was looking forward to but unfortunately the fried pork chunks were a bit over done. They were very dry. The drinks were excellent! The absolute worse service ever! Went during an average weekday and waited over 1 hour for our food to be served and that's keeping it nice. Waitress insisted it was because of the volume of orders ahead but this is a very small place with small capacity so there is just no way that's correct. The food was average.
