This was a great find on our way from Canóvanas to Charco El Hippie. We bought a pastry, espresso, and a warm ham and cheese sandwich; the sandwich was our favorite part. Your sandwich will be ready on island time, but don’t worry, you’re on an island. Best of all was the service. I do not speak fluent Spanish and none of the employees spoke English, but I tried my best and they were patient and kind. They will ask if you want butter or mayo on your sandwich, so be prepared to answer that. They also sell grocery items, beer; it’s a kind of a place that sells almost everything you need.
