A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Junction City

The service tonight was awful!! The lady at the register kept telling me what a horrible day she had. She was talking to someone on her phone while helping customers. A elderly couple had been waiting quite sometime for their food. When they asked about their order they were told that apparently someone else had picked up their order. She was short with the couple and kept telling them that they called their number multiple times and it wasn’t her fault that they didn’t get their order. The couple asked for a refund. She continued to be rude by telling the couple they are short staffed and they only had 3 staff working and again reminded them that it was the couples fault that they didn’t get their food. About 5 minutes later another couple comes walking in with their bags and said they received the wrong order. The employee proceeded to yell to the other staff that she knew what happened to the missing order. She fixed the order for this couple and even offered them a hot fudge sundae. My review could go on and on as the whole time we were eating all we kept hearing was about how bad her day was and how busy they were. It didn’t stop her from sitting down with her friends and talking to them when they came in. Our food was great as always but we were not happy with how she treated...

The restaurant was relatively clean and they were working on refilling some things like the ice cream. A gentleman changed the trashes and picked up some. The ketchup dispenser was out but packets were available. The food was fine. Well cooked but not overly delicious for my personal preference. Not that it was bad at all. I obviously ate my whole meal.😂 The best part was the in store made A & W root beer. It was absolutely delicious!! Made there with real cane sugar. I will definitely be back for that. The worst part and if you read my reviews you'll know that I'm honest. The restaurant is connected to a convenience store and one of the convenience store employees came over and talked to the employees about another employee and about how that employee was being forced to resign. It was right in front of the customers in the lobby and incredibly unprofessional. I was already diving into my food before I remembered...

Ice cream machine was down for months; when I would ask about it, I was told that "it will get here when it gets here, we don't control that". Heard that the ice cream machine finally came in, and that the service had gotten better, so I grabbed lunch via the drive thru. I'm sick, so I didn't order ice cream, but I did order cheese curds, mini corndogs, and chicken tenders. Thankfully they told me prior that the tenders would be an 8 minute wait. So I changed that to a Coney dog. Get my food, it's all there, so I drive off...grab a bite in the car on the way home. Mini corn dogs are still frozen in the middle. Cheese curds aren't melted, and the chili on the dog is cold... What has happened to A&W?!? Used to be my favorite place to eat. Now it's my favorite place to go if I need to lose weight fast...as the food is unappetizing and/or capable of giving me a bit of food poisoning so I can drop those last few...
