A TRUE TASTE of South of the Border complete with the atmosphere and sense you just crossed into Mexico.

I was entertained by the many across the border items it was a true DELIGHT to see such a wide variety of items.

And the selection of South of the Border food items which are prepared and presented in Mexican fashionista and flair and that very distinct TASTE and FLAVORS.

There truly is a world of TASTE HERE some food items I was not familiar with and the South of the Border cheeses used are a bit strong in TASTE and SMELL I decided not to eat I was a little of afraid of the unknown.

So I moved on to DESSERT the diced up FRUIT looked like a safe bet so I DECIDED against the cream and REQUESTED the fruit to be PLAIN.

The FRESH FRUIT was a COMPLETE LET DOWN it was old and NOT FRESH the fruit was SLIMY AND OLD.

This could have been an off day but I am not ready to take another chance I paid for my South of the Border Food with American money and DECIDED next time not to cross INTO THE South of the Border and KEEP GOING.

There is so much to say about this place . I drive pretty far just to get here but it’s so worth it. I love the strawberries with cream, bacon wrapped hot dog, diablitos, monjitas, vampires, churros and the aguas. Everything taste so good and is freshly made . There are so many unique spots with desserts but this one is top 5. This place is an authentic mexican raspado place with great mexican tortas, elotes, mesquite, flan, and much more I visit at least twice a week, , also aguas frescas, the strawberry...

It's a small business but offers a wide variety of drinks, desserts, and snacks. I ordered a Takis esquite, a fresa con crema (with shredded coconut, raisins, and granola on top), a mango vampiro drink, and a dozen of churros ($5 for the dozen).
