Overpriced “fancy” Applebees.

We tried Cooper’s Hawk for the first time for my husband’s birthday. I made reservations ahead of time and waited 10 minutes for our table when we arrived. If you make reservations, request a booth. We were seated at a table that was very small for 2 people and the chairs were uncomfortable. We got 3 apps to share, and each of us had the surf & turf meal. My husband also had one alcoholic beverage. The bill was $140 before tip.

The front doors were filthy and desperately needed to be cleaned. It is LOUD in there! We went on a Friday at 7 and it was as busy as you’d expect this type of place to be. We didn’t see an open area to sit while waiting for our table.

All of the food we ordered was disappointing. When the price is set at a higher price point, one tends to have higher expectations. Olive Garden has better tasting food.

🤢 The Cesar salad had browned soggy bits of lettuce in it 🦀 The crab/shrimp/lobster bisque was just ok 🍕 the sausage burrata flat bread pizza was also just ok - the flavors just didn’t hit right. 🥩 most people in KC can probably cook better steaks at home, and for better prices. The fillet medallions were barely bigger than a half dollar & the texture was tough instead of tender, though they did arrive visibly cooked to medium rare just as ordered. 🧼 The blackened ahi tuna was genuinely terrible - it tasted like spicy soap and the portion size was laughably small 🥨 the pretzel crusted pork chop was ok ✅ the scallops gratin were the best thing we ordered but they arrived too hot to eat right away

The highlight of our meal was consistent service from Sarah. She was busy with other tables but her service never indicated that. She kept our drinks full and ensured our meal was perfectly timed, even with 3 appetizers for only 2 people. She was kind and friendly.

Overall, I don’t recommend this chain restaurant and I regret trying it out. I wish I would have saved myself the $$ and gone up 169 to locally-owned Kozak’s instead - they have much better food at much better prices in a casual environment with a reasonable level of...

Me and my bf we try for first time in coopers hawk in tiffany spring and at first time we really like the waitress cause shes very accomodating and make sure we have everything we need and she asked us if we want complimetary wine and she gave us 2 glass each one of us. When our food arrived I love the presentation and my bf like his hamburger that he ordered but the ahi tu a I ordered OMG its wayyyyyyyyyyy toooooo salty! I never end a saltiest food in my life in any restaurant. We went bfore many times in coopers hawk plaza but never one have problem. When my bf taste the ahi tuna I ordered he even mentioned that is waaaaaaaaayyyy toOOOO SALTY! Its like you are eating salt and and ahi tuna anymore. But since its expensive I try to wash it with the sauce but I can still taste the salty, MY GOD!

Then the second time we went and I crossed my finger hope its bettee this time. Well this time ks worst. The waitress is wayyyyy toooo slow. Don't even bother us if we want to order a drink. Never offer a complimentary wine and when I asked she forgot or ignore us for 2 times then at third time I asked again and she bring us very tiny glass with maybe 2 sip of wine, MY goodness! I think shes one of the worst waitress but my bf still gave her a tip. The food my bf ordered he didnt finish cause the burger is alrdy cold, what the heck! My pork chop is okay but not the kind of food I want to order again. And the worst part we sit in the area close to the bar and were freezing cold. I even try to wait my coat while we eating! Paying a lot of money for this experienced we had I dont think its worthed but nxt time I would prefer to go the coopers...

We spent some time at Floor and Decor just around the corner and were headed to Home Depot to wrap up our awesome date night - iykyk - we had already eaten at home but saw Cooper's Hawk and thought, hey, let's swing in for a quick snack and drink before we hit the HD. As we pulled into the parking lot, I said Wow, they look busy for a Wednesday evening. We went in and were surprised there wasn't a wait, since we were just grabbing a quick bite we thought we'd sit in the bar area...well that became a mistake. They either went through a shift change or the server for that area just walked out, not sure which, but it started our experience off on the wrong foot. We were sitting at a table, not the actual bar, but eventually one of the bartenders looked at me and was like - You guys ok? I responded, I feel a little forgotten....Eventually, I went to the bar to order a couple of cocktails - Mai Tai was tasty, and the white sangria was good as well. Fast forward 15-20 minutes and a very apologetic waitress comes over to take our order and explain the situation. We placed our order - Thai lettuce wraps and the Chicken potstickers- they did not disappoint!! The lettuce wraps were a meal in their own for the both of us. As we ate, one of the managers (Mitch) came over and spoke to us, as we talked about the experience we were having, he also began to apologize for what had occurred. Mitch offered to pay for a dessert if we wanted, and we had already thought about getting one so that was perfect timing. All in all, our server Rachel and the manager Mitch made the ending of our experience much better than the...

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience demands to be documented. We Ubered with a child to the Cooper’s Hawk location on Saturday, expecting a smooth, quick meal. We arrived at 4:30 PM and noticed several empty tables, which we assumed meant a short wait. Instead, we were told we couldn’t be seated until 8 PM – 3.5 hours later, despite visibly open seating and no meaningful accommodation effort from the staff. The manager offered zero resolution. No empathy, no attempt to find a compromise, no creativity – just a dismissive “nothing we can do.” In what world is that acceptable hospitality? We were paying members. Not that it should take a membership to be treated with basic respect and decency, but the fact that we were loyal customers makes this even more insulting. We cancelled our membership on the spot. This location is poorly managed, lacking in customer service fundamentals, and tone-deaf to hospitality. Based on this experience, I will never dine at Cooper’s Hawk again and will absolutely share this story within the Fortune 1 company I work for – where employee dining, events, and corporate partnerships are no small matter. Terrible location. Terrible experience. Zero stars if I could.

Outstanding Experience at Cooper’s Hawk – Thanks to Carlos & Grant! I had the pleasure of dining at Cooper’s Hawk up north last night, and I have to say—it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. What truly made the night exceptional were Carlos and Grant. Omg, Carlos is an absolute wine connoisseurs and brought a level of knowledge, passion, and hospitality that elevated our entire evening. He didn’t just offer recommendations—he took the time to explain their training and how they approach pairing wines with different dishes. Both of them genuinely love what they do, and it came through in every interaction. The wine suggestions were spot-on, and I ended up trying a few varietals I never would have chosen on my own (and loved them!). It’s rare to come across a team that makes you feel both welcomed and educated at the same time. Because of Carlos and Grant, I’m already looking forward to my next visit. If you're heading to Cooper’s Hawk, do yourself a favor and ask for them—you’ll be in excellent hands.
