KTM Indo-Mediterranean Grill & Cafe — Restaurant in Kansas City

Oh man, this was SO good. There are no Indian restaurants within easy access of Grandview and South KC. And not only did they have it, it was fantastic; best Indian food I’ve eaten in a long time. We had samosas, mango lassi, garlic naan, chicken Rogan Josh, and butter chicken. The Rogan Josh ordered spicy had some good heat but wasn’t probably as Indian hot as my hubs would’ve liked. We dined in and service was timely and very friendly from the lady who ran the counter. The prices were very affordable, considering how much other places charge in Midtown and OP. I do love Tibetan momos and was very surprised to see them on the menu (they’re very uncommon in KC); we will have to try them again next time. While I’m intrigued that they also serve Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food, I want to try other Indian...

Finally, a very good Indian Restaurant in South Kansas City, MO! I ate-in and ordered the tabbouleh, Lamb Baryani (I asked for spicy) and Garlic Naan. While I was in the restaurant there were 5-6 to-go orders picked up and two of them were pretty large (big containers and multiple bags). So the Baryani portion was HUGE. The lamb was tender, the rice well seasoned and I broke a tiny sweat so it was perfect for spiciness. The Naan was moist and there were 2 salad plate-sized pieces that were chewy/bread versus some places where it is dried out. The Tabbouleh was very good although I think a little heavy on the onion. I ate there for $30 and have enough for 3-4 days of left overs. Such nice people working at KTM, too! Next time I will definitely try the Nepalese Momo...
