Old Folks Lounge — Restaurant in Kansas City

First of all...this place.... needs no stars....for the simple fact that the older lady ...with the eyelashes SHE CANT SEE PAST.....has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.... I have not been there in ages...and didnt realize it was cash only.... so her RUDE ass walks up and aske what I want to drink...I said well..um..I dont kno..yet . I haven't decide...I mean ...I said it just like that... she rolled her eyes and made the noise u make when u dont wanna do somethin...the humph sound... and walks the hell off....

Then 5 mins go past....she comes back and rudely says " IF YOU DONT HAVE A DRINK YOU HAVE TO GO ....U CANT JUST SIT IN OLD FOLKS AND NOT BUY A DRINK..." IM like um.....but she wouldn't give my ass a chance to say hey....I got A card....she was yelling... my friend tried to talk to her...and she PUT HER HANDS ALL UP IN MY FRIENDS FACE.... SAYING SHE DONT WANNA TALK....

NOW IF SHE SAID SHE BEEN THERE 19 YEARS.... AND SHES ACTING LIKE THAT???? HORRIBLE...AND I WONT EVER SET FOOT IN THERE AGAIN. AND I WILL TELL EVERYBODY I KNO...NOT TO GO...

I always have a good time,good music, and great drinks. But was here tonight with some coworkers that was another race (Not black) and they took they money.Then was harassed about being in the wrong neighborhood etc. That is so unprofessional for the door man and another worker to make them feel uncomfortable but they was good enoughfor you to take their money .SMDH made them uncomfortable to the point they leave....terrible we are so...

This is a nice place. Reminds me of an African American version of Cheers. Casual atmosphere and everyone is friendly. More of an mature crowd. The drinks are the best I've had any where because you never have to question if they added any liquor.
