Me and a friend had just got off work and we were starving. I ordered two eggs OM. To me over medium means all the white is cooked and maybe a tiny bit if the yolk. What I was served was very OE eggs. The white was still watery. I CAN'T eat OE eggs. I tried by taking a couple bites. I asked the server if she would get me two eggs OM and showed her the eggs I had been served. She was not happy to do that. A couple minutes later I was served two more eggs more under cooked than the first set.
I asked the server to take them off my bill. My friend went to pay the ticket and the server had an attitude. I heard her say $19.00. I went to the register to confirm the eggs had been removed from the ticket and the server said she took off $3.50.
We left and I came back in to get the servers name and I heard her telling other customers I was trying to scam waffle house. I asked her what she had said to the other customers and she said I had ate most of both sets of eggs. I was shocked.
This is a perfect example of how people tell you so much about themselves when they are talking about you? I have no doubt this server is a scandalous woman. No doubt about. It NEVER crossed my mind I would be accused of something so lame. The server lied. I didn't touch the 2nd set. Looking at raw eggs put in front of me to eat makes my stomach hurt. This server was not someone I would have working for...
Read moreFood tasted fine, typical waffle house, it just didn’t seem very sanitary. My friends and i went in around 11:45pm-12am. We sat at the bar top and went unnoticed for 10+ minutes. There were two girls serving and one cook and, at the time, maybe 2 or 3 other tables in the restaurant. After not being taken care of someone finally came up to us to get our order. She took everything and then walked away. We waited an additional 15 minutes for drinks, which we eventually asked the other lady for and she looked at us with complete confusion. Not once did someone smile at us, we were given our food and then the checks with minimal interaction in between. Nobody checked on us. Apart from us, there was one lady telling everyone that the cook was backed up and it was going to be a while and then tried directing EVERYONE to a different waffle house, but it seemed to be in a “i don’t want to deal with you” way and not a “so sorry but youre better off there” nice way. On top of that, two tables were about to order when the cook decided to tell the ‘servers’ he was taking a 15 minute break. Overall a bad experience. I love waffle house, but avoid this...
Read moreMy visit to this location was profoundly disappointing, marked by a shocking lack of professionalism and poor service.
Upon arrival, we were told the restaurant was closed for 20-30 minutes for cleaning. We chose to wait, but absolutely no cleaning took place during that entire time. The initial staff on the floor seemed unprofessional, and additional employees arrived looking visibly impaired. While we waited for the supposed cleaning period to end, another couple walked in. Despite being told the restaurant was closed, this couple was allowed to place an order and receive their food** well before our waitress (the same server) even approached our table. This apparent preferential treatment felt discriminatory and was completely unacceptable. When we finally placed our order, the issues continued. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak Hash Brown Bowl** and was served a bowl with chicken instead. The overall food quality was subpar, compounding the negative experience.
In summary, this was an entirely unpleasant experience. The late-night management urgently needs to reevaluate and overhaul the current staff. I will not be returning to this...
