this is the worst experience I've had at a restaurant in the worst $54 I've ever spent my husband ordered a steak medium rare and it came out well done my chicken fried steak was the size of a kids plate no dinner rolls were ever brought waitress would not check on us hardly at all my mom's half a roast beef sandwich barely had any gravy on it when we were asked by the hostess how things were and we told them they just kind of shrugged their shoulders like it didn't matter no one was wearing masks like Reno county is supposed to be wearing and no gloves I will not be back to this establishment and I recommend that no one goes to this is establishment. carriage crossing is a lot better and a lot cheaper in price. pretty bad when we walk in and all the waitresses are just sitting there staring at us not doing anything there is a lot of cleaning and other things that they could be doing I'm sure I'm glad they have a place of employment that pays them for...

We had a small group of about 9 guys get together for breakfast on a Saturday. We are a group that meets to share and pray together along with eating a nice breakfast. And that we got. The atmosphere was comfortable. Unbeknownst to us there were other small groups of men meeting doing the same thing. The breakfast was cooked perfect with large portions. The coffee (black) was brewed just like I like it. The waitress kept our drinks full and kept all the orders correct and to our liking. It was an experience that you want when eating out. Good food, good atmosphere, good wait staff and a place were we felt as though we could say the name of Jesus without being scowled at. I enjoy sharing Jesus in public but sometimes you simply want to share with friends without judgment, kinda like being at church. And thats what it felt like. I sure enjoyed it as I always have and will continue. P S. Took 2 massive cinnamon roles home to the family and wow did that...

We found this authenic old-school restaurant on US 50. This Amish restaurant offers made-from-scratch comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For lunch and dinner a nice salad bar is available. I opted for a Hot Roast Beef sandwich. The waitress winked at me, as if to say, "You better be hungry!" Oh my, this dish took me back in time. There was a heaping amount of freshly prepared and sliced roast beef stacked between two slices of bread. The sandwich was cut in half and moved apart wide enough to place a huge round mound of real mashed potatoes. Then the entire meal was covered in "homemade" old style beef gravy. Salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy every delicious bite. This meal hit the magic spot! But, do not leave before purchasing at least one large maple covered cinnamon roll..or a tray of six. They have a variety of homemade cookies, too. We will find reasons to drive this highway again, JUST to eat at this friendy...

This dining experience was quite disappointing all the way around. The majority of our food was cold. My chicken fried chicken was hot, but burnt. The brown gravy (on the side, thankfully) was bland. The dinner salad was as if out of a grocery store pre-mix bag. The dinner rolls were very dry and stale tasting, with dark tops and bottoms. My husband got the special (jalapeno pork chop) and it tasted like a normal chop, not spicy, and unremarkable. The peanut butter pie was delicious, despite its mushy crust, and was the best part of the meal. I had high expectations for fresh home-made dinner rolls and food and instead was sad we spent our money. Also, we left reeking of fried food. The carpet was filthy. The waitress asked how the food was but seemed more offended than concerned, and we had only mentioned the rolls at that point. The gift shop was darling. We don't plan to return.

Made from scratch delicious food! Amish restaurant where everyone is very welcoming and so happy to serve big, hot cinnamon buns! We had ours as an appetizer 😁 and our waitress offered something new… to put butter on top! The restaurant is large, with booths and tables. Healthy options and everything we had was fresh. Accessible ♿️ with lots of room for maneuverability. Portions are generous. Huge drinks. Lots of locals stoping by to meet up or a meal. Plenty of parking, clean bathrooms.
