Thought we would go try the All you can eat catfish night. My husband & I dont eat a whole lot at one sitting so we just ordered the catfish dinner. $16.95 was a bit steep for our pockets. The catfish was great! Tasted fresh and had a pretty good breading. The co-slaw was fresh but dry. No sauce. It was like they rinced it all off. I just salt & pepper my chopped cabbage. The fries were cold and soggy. I think they made them hours ago & placed them under a heat lamp. The beans were great tho & the hush puppies were nice & big. The place is nice & clean, staff is very friendly & prices are good. No over charging. Our service was not the best. We were checked on once. Offered no refill ect. The reason I give it a 3 is because the food should be cooked to order. Especially fries. Slaw should be made fresh for all you can eat catfish night. Wait staff should be prompt & customer dont have to get up & get their own refill ect. This place could be awesome! A 5 star home cooked restaurant. I have to say tho, they do treat you like family and the atmosphere is calm & fun to look at all the stuff on the walls. I'm glad they are here. I will go back in a few months as I pass through &...

The food was amazing, the ladies besides the woman behind the counter were awesome. But it took over and hour to just get my food. when I arrived they had about 20 bags of food sitting under a heat lamp next to the front counter lady she never gave a warm greeting, just what do you want with a sigh, when some ones food is done all she says is hey you, your foods done. no name nor number said. and by the time mine was ready it went right under there, and I wasn't told it was done for who knows how long. they need someone to help get food out and not someone who just sits down and assumes we can read minds to figure out if I am able to grab my food and go. the place was fairly full, but not enough to ignore the waiting guests. I arrived at 4:45 and didn't leave with my food until 5:50. and like I said when it was handed to me it was from a heat lamp so by the time I got home all my food was cold. and I live roughly 5-10 min away depending on traffic. I will go back, but would love to see someone who cares to get food out for to go orders, instead of the waiters who are worried about sitting guest. yall need a better food handling system and in all a better front...

First time eating here, got take out with my husband. I understand it’s a small judge mental town but the woman in the red box counter thing was extremely rude and unwelcoming. If you are a young attractive female she will treat you like garbage ! Or a young man! Same judgmental woman story old as time. I know I’m not from this town but there’s no need to be overtly rude and definitely dramatic with the facial expressions. Especially when I continue being polite . I asked how long it was going to take for my food . She does this… looks at me like I’m crazy, shakes her head back and forth; rolls her eyes looks at her plate of food, takes another bite and just says the word no. I mean come on….
