We stayed there expecting what we read from the other review. We were not disappointed. We aired the room out before we entered. Musty smell from air conditioning I guess. The water was brownish so expect the sheets to be the same. It was clean and the TV, lights, refrigerator were in working order. I would stay there again, yes because of its proximity to the Elk Viewing Visitor Center in Benezetta, Pa. The Elk are huge!!! Saw one on the way to the center and while there saw about 10. They are something to see. The Center is very informative also.||The hotel has a restaurant for dinner but nothing for breakfast is in the area. Food was par for the course. I rarely review any place, but felt the need. 2 minutes inside the bar/restaurant and we felt like we belonged. The owners Christine and Chris go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The food and drinks are priced below average, but the food quality far above average. Didn't get to try the pizza, but it looked amazing. The service and hospitality is top shelf. We visited Benezette and decided to stay here, well worth the 30 minute drive on a scenic drive. Yes, the rooms are outdated, but clean and the price per night is right to save your cash. Stayed one night while checking out the beautiful Wilds and the elk. Location is good- about 30 minutes of gorgeous woods and streams away from the visitors center. The accommodations were what I had expected after reading other reviews and the price was right. The room was clean, mattress comfortable, the heater worked well, and there was a decent refrigerator. Would have liked a regular coffee maker (the one in the room was keurig style and had old grounds in it) and/or a microwave. The restaurant/bar on premises is good for dinner, but no breakfast options. The staff/owners are very nice and helpful. Would stay here again, maybe...
