Konohiki Seafood ππΊ
Our experience with Konohiki Seafood was nothing short of fantastic! We decided to get takeout and enjoy it with friends at Kalapaki Beach. The combination of delicious food and a stunning ocean view made for an unforgettable lunch ππ .
My father and I chose the traditional Kalua Pork with poke. The Kalua Pork was flavorful and the poke was fresh and seasoned just right, adding a delightful burst of flavor with each bite ππ£.
My wife and friends opted for the Chinese and shrimp options. They raved about the savory, well-balanced flavors, with the shrimp being perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection π€π₯‘.
The service was incredibly fast, allowing us to get our food and head to the beach without any delay. Once at Kalapaki Beach, we set up our spot and enjoyed our meals while taking in the breathtaking ocean view. The combination of the cool breeze, sound of the waves, and amazing food made for a memorable and relaxing experience π΄ποΈ.
We had a blast sharing stories, laughing, and indulging in the authentic Hawaiian local food. I highly recommend Konohiki Seafood for anyone looking to enjoy delicious, high-quality meals with a spectacular beach backdrop. It's a must-try when you're in...
Β Β Β Read moreWe stopped by 20 minutes before this place closed and the food was STILL fresh. You could also glean this from the amount of locals we saw in this place as well. The restaurant is deli counter style where you buy things by the pound with some items being sold individually. In our effort to leave the restaurant before it closed, I did not catch the name of everything we ordered. What I can tell you is that it was ALL good. We ordered 4 different varieties of poke, all delicious and very fresh. We also ordered the sushi (not my personal favorite but still good) and these dragon rolls (??) that were spicy and delicious. They were located to the left of the cash register. We added on some locally made gummy bears with lemon peel and a purple ube cheesecake for good measure (found in the coolers to the left). Here I have to stop and tell you that you really should grab an ube cheesecake (or two, seriously it was THAT good). Overall, we paid $90 for the food you see in my picture. I am writing this review the day after and we STILL have leftovers so you definitely get your bang for your buck, especially considering the freshness of the food. I would...

They've got poke varieties that could make a sushi chef envious, and then some. From fish to fried delights like chicken, shrimp, and pork, this place is a carnival of flavors.
We dove into a poke bowl, where we played mix-and-match with spicy Ahi and California mix - though, heads up, that Cali mix will sneak an extra buck onto your bill, which I wish was mentioned before we got the surprise math lesson at checkout. And about that tofu poke? They're generous, giving us a bit more than the promised quarter pound.
Don't plan on dining in; this spot is all about the grab-and-go life. But while you're there, peek at the bakery section or join the crowd snagging the popular ginger-infused fried treats. Word to the wise: hit this place early. By day's end, you're playing culinary roulette with what's left.
All in all, the taste was top-notch, fresher than a sea breeze, and a stark contrast to the mainland's offerings. Trust me, this deli will be my first stop post-touchdown, every...
