I stopped in this past Sunday because I always drive by and I really wanted to see how their pies compared to some of the local competitors (like Purtells). When my kids and I walked into we were warmly greeted. The young lady working behind the counter seemed eager and excited to work with us. She even made the kiddos feel extra welcome. I asked if I could order a pie to be made and picked up a later date as I didn't see one on display. She informed me that it would only take her about 5 minutes to whip one up. I agreed, and in just a few short minutes She had prepared for us a very delicious looking Coconut Creme Pie. I was very pleased with the service I received, the price of the goods, and the flavor/texture of the pie. She knocked it out of the park! I wish I would've caught her name to include it in the review as she deserves a ton of praise. My experience was a night and day contrast to what I'm reading in the 1 star reviews. Hopefully me next visit is just as good as my first. Also, tip for you, if you plan to tip make sure you have cash or that you inform them when they run the debit card. You can not tip on the receipt.

I am upset that after trying another spot down the road for years that I never gave Rosie's a try. Three years ago I stopped in for a pie and fell for the strawberry rhubarb. Amazing how much this feed and the quality is impeccable. Sadly the last strawberry rhubarb was on the way out today so I doubled up on the apple. One being dutch crumb, the other old fashioned. Both were so fresh we had to transport them with the box open. Made it the 3 hours home and they are still warm. Rosie's is a gem and I tell anyone if they are traveling up this way to stop and see what they have on display.

I live in royal oak, and a friend turned me on to Rosie's when going to my cabin in Gladwin. It's right off 75. It's clear as soon as you walk in that it's a clean, quaint, pleasant little spot. Patty and her crew are the best. So nice and patient while i gaze at all the delectable treats and pastries. The pies and cookies are to die for! Heath cookies are my fav! I just found out they cater also. I can't say enough good about Rosie's! They supply to a lot of local diner/restaurants too. So you may have eaten her pies and not known it. Thanks Patty your the best!

I went here during a recent snow storm. The staff seemed annoyed that I was asking questions and asking to see if they had other flavors in back after I was told that they had others in the back, but was never told what flavors were there. After deciding on a chocolate cream pie and a cherry pie I packed the pies into my trunk and drove home...which is where my real dissatisfaction began. The chocolate cream lacked flavor and the crust was disgustingly over cooked...well that sucks.... $12 in the garbage...at least we still have the cherry....or so we thought. Upon cutting the first slice we realized that they gave us a raspberry pie, but marked the box as cherry. Might not have been so bad if I didn't see no way to the raspberry when they mentioned it....probably because I can't stand raspberry pie...another $13 in the trash can. I would have brought them back and demanded a refund, but I live about 5 hours away and rarely come...

After Hearing SO Many People RAVE About Rosie's Pies I Decided To Give Them A Try This Thanksgiving 2024. I Have NEVER Been So Disappointed AND Embarrassed In Front Of Guest. Ordered 2 Pumpkin Pies And 1 Apple (lattice top). What We Received Was 2 BURNT Crust Pies On BOTH Pumpkin Pies That HAD NO TASTE Other Than SUGAR Where Was The SPICE??? The Apple Pie Turned Out To Be DUTCH APPLE With Crumbly Stuff On Top AND You Couldn't Even Get It OUT Of The Pie Tin Without Making A Big MESS Out Of It VERY Unappetizing When Put On The Plate. I WILL NEVER ORDER PIES FROM THERE AGAIN. I Will Be SURE To Tell Others About My Experience With Them. Their Prices Are CRAZY Also $18.95 Per Pie. DON'T...
