Da Phat Taco — Restaurant in Kellyville

Tried Da Phat Taco last week. The nine buck nachos were super good although there wasn't enough beans for even five chips... but the queso sauce almost made up for it (seriously good stuff!) Solid 4 stars, easy. I made a mental note to ask for extra beans next time I order that. Today I got the vegetarian taco salad. I did enjoy it, their guac was perfect and the "salad" and dressing/sauce were good, but I was bummed to find there were no beans at all! Would I go back? Yes, absolutely. Would I drive from Tulsa or even Coweta for this food? Again, yes. (Already craving that queso!!) But I will definitely be confirming ingredients in the future and not assuming. PS the salsa is really good! Be sure to ask...

Best thing was the queso and salsa, both are store bought. We ordered 2 phat burritos both supposed to be chicken. They both had beef that tasted like more of a pot roast than Mexican food. And the pico de Gallo was literally just cut up tomatoes. I get that it's a small town restaurant but if you're charging $28 for 2 burritos at least put some onion and cilantro in the pico di Gallo. This is the second time we have tried going there (and the first wasn't any better). As for all the reviews saying its the best Mexican food ever 🤷‍♂️ those people must have never had a frozen burrito, or even taco bell for...

Happen to be in Kellyville area leaving a craft show and decided to stop off and give this local place a shot. Let me just say.....

Da Phat Taco is DA BOMB!!!

WOW! I tried their Phat Burrito with chicken and it was beyond words. The chicken is phenomenal. The size of the burrito is just shy of how big Shaq's NBA high top would be!!

This place knocked it outta the park! I might even drive the 45 minutes from Tulsa to eat...
