I've come twice with the expectations of getting a certain item on the menu. Unfortunately, they have not had that item in stock on two separate occasions. With people waiting, I settled for trying two other items on my first visit and was not disappointed. On my second visit, I panicked and ordered a snoball flavor I haven't had since I was a kid. After observing everyone get their order, including the person who ordered on the same ticket with me. I waited about 15-20 minutes (not an exaggeration) before asking if they were still making mine. They said they must have given it away earlier to someone who ordered the same thing, but that was not the case. I think if you are going to put children in charge of the register and in your establishment, you have to train them on customer service, awareness, and accountability. I am a very patient person, but I was overlooked with no excuse as to why. Employees walked back and forth doing other tasks and servicing other customers before I had to speak up, not the other way around. And the flavor I got was underwhelming. But I do love their water ice, soft serve vanilla, and signature sundaes/snoballs. I would like to give them another chance, but it may be a while considering there are many other snoball locations in New orleans, Metairie and kenner!...
Also, the sundae my company ordered was half full with soft serve when it only comes in one size. I wanted to ask why it was half full but didn't. And I wish I took a picture to show you. Just take my word, I had many questions. I say try them once and if you love it great, but if your order takes more than 10 minutes, please speak up or get...
Read moreI'm only giving one star because my kids actually enjoyed their Snoballs. But I drove nearly two hours there for king cake. Arrived at opening time, however there was a line which I expected. Once it was my turn, I was informed that there were no more of the king cake I wanted so I opted for something else. Two customers behind me asked for the same thing I did, and was provided the very king cake that they were supposedly out of. When I questioned it, I was told that she ordered the king cake and only paid a tip at the counter... which I clearly saw and heard otherwise (in addition to being told on their social media page that they do not take phone orders or holds). So I'll never be returning, because this incident was truly heartbreaking to me. Maybe somewhere different, I'll meet the criteria of being treated "special". And as far the bs apology and reply I received, I guess that's exactly why the gentleman at the counter said "this is our last cream cheese".... not to mention the numerous posts I've seen saying that y'all always have the cream cheese Manny Randazzo. So no, you wouldn't do the same for me because the opportunity presented itself and that option went even offered or suggested after seeing I was...
Read moreI've gone here a few times before and the experience wasn't too bad. The problem is that recently every time I've gone there the employee's attitude is just out right horrible. The lady making the snowballs didn't call my name and just sat it on the counter, there were other customers as well so I couldn't just assume it was mine and had to go up and ask when I did she rolled her eyes and said yes. I didn't want to make trouble so I just took it and left, the other time I went I had gotten nachos and a medium spearmint snowball and she just kept messing up my order there wasn't even that many people this time just like 3 or 4 people and most of them already had their orders first she gave me small size instead of medium then when I told her it was the wrong size she got mad and walked away with the snow ball and just dumped it into a medium cup and brought it back to me, I asked her if she could fix it since it really didn't look right the cup only had half a snowball inside so she fixed it and put it on the counter with the syrup leaking...
