K's Diner — Restaurant in Kenockee Township

An authentic small town diner in a really small town. The food is great, the bacon, ham, and sausage must be locally sourced. Even the hash browns look and taste like they were made from scratch. The place is full of antique signs and knickknacks. The coffee was diner coffee, not great but passable. The only thing that bothered me was the conversation between a bunch of locals. I was there at the height of the NFL kneeling controversy; there was talk like "just because some street kid can catch a ball he thinks he can express his opinion" and "if we didn't feed them and train them they wouldn't amount to anything" "Mandingo (all chuckle). Very accommodating owner and staff .... we showed up just as they were closing to feed the whole town spaghetti dinner at the firehall... they knew we had just biked the 10plus mile trail and draggin our butts for food and water ... enjoyed our reubens ... thanks for being so considerate Dave and staff from a couple Canucks and company... hope the town enjoyed the dinner! btw think left my gloves on...
