Delicious wine and stunning views...this new spot is a gem! There were five wines available for tasting (two whites, a rosé, a red, and a sparkling), plus a few snacks for purchase. The grounds are expansive, with plenty of picnic tables and space to spread out. Best of all, you can stroll down to the edge of the bay and take in an amazing view of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Darcy led me through a tasting and made the experience extra fun. She described the sparkling rosé as “bubbles forward,” which instantly won me over, because I absolutely love bubbles! It's probably my favorite place on the island right now! Chesapeake Manor Vineyard has the BEST local wine, beautiful view, amazing breeze straight off the bay. I could sit there for hours with a book in my hand and wine glass in the other and just relax! Great place to spend with the family for game day (bring your own, or play some corn hole with C.M.V. boards) I love when they have their musical guests and food trucks. Beautiful winery with lovely grounds and a view of the bay. Wines were surprisingly good. I enjoyed a glass of vetliner and my husband enjoyed a glass of chambourcin while we listened to live music and played some Cornhole. Truly impressed with the pretty grounds.
