Skinny's Tavern — Restaurant in Kenton

Well decided to try it one last time due to lack of options in Kenton. I Ordered two kids meals with fries and Pepsi, chicken tenders with fries, chicken salad and coleslaw. Which cost $40.88. So when I went to pick up my order the bag felt suspiciously light, so I ask waitress if that was my entire order and she said yes. So as soon as I got to the car I checked to make sure all the food was there and what do you know, instead of 4 chicken tenders they gave me five chicken chunks, no fries in any order and no Pepsi for the kids meals. So instead of calling me to say hey we are out of these items they just decided to not give me half of my food. I’ve never had an establishment essential steal for me. I honestly don’t know what to call it other than stealing. I understand mistakes but they literally made this decision once they realized they were out of said items. Have ordered take out many times. The food has always been great, no matter what I've ordered. I highly reommend this place to anyone wanting great tasting food. Well, here it is 2 years later & this is STILL a favorite of mine. I'm hooked on the Hawaiian burger, but also love the Reuben, big T, chicken wings, mushrooms, and practically everything the menu offers. All the food is absolutely Great, the service is very good & quite friendly. They go out of their way to please and do not disappoint! I highly recommend this place to everyone wanting great tasting food in large portions and a relaxed atmosphere to make your dining experience much more pleasurable. I can't believe this place has been around for some 60 years, and a few new owners, but always exceptional food & service. The food was good the staff wasn’t bad. One waitress was very friendly but then the other wasn’t. But that is something I have noticed about the Kenton area since I have moved here. People are just not as friendly in this area as they are in other areas. The only other issue was the dinning area needed swept. It had paper and visible food pieces on the floor. Over I would go back though just probably won’t dine in.

Update to owner rely: maybe I will not be back because nowhere in my review did I say anything about being in during lunch. I came In Between lunch and dinner on the 22 of Aug. (around 4 or 5pm) and there was maybe 4 or 5 other people eat. Only one other person in my section. Do not like being gaslight by a restaurant owner who wants to make up excuses for why they cannot keep their eating establishment clean.
