You must have to be a local to appreciate this place. Because of a Facebook ad we drove an hour to eat the seafood buffet that they advertised tonight. We arrived around 6:30. There were a few people waiting ahead of us, but not many. We stood just inside the door and not one single person spoke or acknowledged that we were there for at least 10 minutes. All of the employees are dressed in street clothes with no name tags, aprons…nothing, so it’s hard to tell who works there and who doesn’t. Unless you live here I guess. When we were finally seated we helped ourselves to the buffet. The fish, which looks perfectly cooked in the pictures tasted strongly of nothing more than burnt grease, which you could also smell throughout the restaurant. At least 4 of the spaces on the buffet were empty when we first went through and remained empty for our entire visit. The fried shrimp appeared to be what you can buy from any grocery store. Oysters were heavily battered and over cooked…the same with the scallops. $40 for two plates which we couldn’t even finish. We won’t be making this drive again.
