Denny's — Restaurant in Kentucky

We have been twice in the last 2 weeks the first time we went our waiter was noticeably under the influence she was forgetting to bring us refills not coming and asking if we needed anything gone for long periods of time and for only maybe 5 tables in the restaurant I thought it was a little ridiculous I ordered my meal steak Mac and cheese and French fries I usually get mashed potatoes but they said they were sold out I didn’t receive the Mac and cheese with my meal our waiter went back to the kitchen staff over 4 times after being asked to check each time by the time we had ate our food and had to get up to find our waiter and ask for boxes I still didn’t have my Mac and cheese so we asked again and it was finally ready after we had got boxed up and payed. I went last night to take my sister in law to dinner after she just lost her papaw two days ago and for only having 3 tables at 9pm the service was terrible kitchen staff standing around on their phones waiter disappearing for long periods of time not checking in at our table and my meal not being served at the same time as my sides $56 for bad service and not Able to eat my meal together doesn’t seem worth it this used to be a good family place to get a good dinner but the last two times have changed my view on it I know with better staff or more passionate staff would be a more rewarding dining experience I always give staff and servers the grace they deserve as I am a server myself but it was...

I went in to sit and eat on Thanksgiving! I stood and waited to be seated. 2 different servers looked me in my face! And didn't acknowledge me for about 5 mins! Finally the one lady said she'd be with me. However she disappeared and I walked away. Before I could turn my back. A white family showed up and was seated immediately! So i stepped back in. Just to have the samething happen. I was fixing to walk away again. However Ms. Rebecca who was checking out customers. Said she'd be right with me. And then the other server wanted to assist me. Absolutely. Not. I told her no and would wait for Rebecca! She is an awesome server and definitely an asset to the company! Dennys has definitely made headlines about how they mistreat brown skin customers. And I stopped giving them my money for about 2 years. However I decided to try again. But nothing seems to have changed. The food was burnt and my side of mac n cheese was cold. The staff here was fussing amongst one another! However Ms. Rebecca remained very professional! And I watched her interact with everyone on the same level! She treated what seemed to be regular attendees. Along with others like myself in the same manner. Her service alone is the only reason for 3 stars! I will not be returning to Dennys...

I come to this location when I do this route on I-64 and never had any problems with the food or service except for today. I came in to this location at 8am and ordered breakfast. Service was fair considering only 2 servers were on duty, no problem. I was given tableware, opened the napkin and the tableware was GREASY as well as the spoon had crud on it. Ok I'm understanding about that and asked for new utensils. When my meal arrived, it looked really good until I looked at the place, it was ABSOLUTELY GROSS! The plate had what looked like some type of black grease on it as well as it was NOT EVEN cleaned! The younger server literally copped an attitude with me when I told her about my being not happy. I asked to speak with the manager and she didn't come out to even listen to my concerns. If this is the type of service that this location offers, I am not coming back. I've been coming here for several years and now this? UNACCEPTABLE.. when I had requested to talk with the manager, I was told and not by the manager but the server.. " just leave " . No offer to replace meal or to correct the problem. Also the cooks were more interested in what radio station to listen to vs...
