I was looking for some good old fashioned food and saw this place reasonably close to Danville. This place totally hit the mark! The menu had exactly what I was looking for I ordered the Tenderloin with Mashed Potatoes and white gravy, Mac n Cheese, and Macaroni salad and a slice of Texas Toast. My wife ordered the Country Ham with Mashed Potatoes and Brown gravy, French Fries and a Side salad along with Texas Toast. Both of these dishes were under $9 each! I followed the meal up with Blackberry Cobbler with Vanilla ice cream on top. All of the food was awesome and you cannot beat the value. If you are craving a diner this is the one to go to and is worth a small drive.

We found this restaurant last year when we were in the area. We were looking for a new place to eat. I Googled the area and found Pete's restaurant. We went there for supper. They have all you can eat catfish Friday and Saturday night on the menu. The menu has a great variety of food and good deserts. Good home cooked food. We have gone to Pete's every time we have been back in the area and will continue to come. The service is great. A must visit diner if you're in the area and hungry.

We tried Pete’s diner last night and ordered 2 Ribeye steak dinners to go. Unfortunately, Kennedy bridge was closed down due to a tragic accident. I had no way of getting our order until the bridge was open. That would take a few hours. I was in communication with the restaurant so they knew the situation. When I realized we weren’t getting our dinner anytime soon, the owner, Donna, offered to meet us after closing the restaurant at 8:00pm. We figured the bridge would be open by then. She did!!!! I was so thankful!!!! Not only that!! Our Ribeye dinner was outstanding!!! It was so nice to meet her and I will definitely be going back to Pete’s Diner!! It really is a hidden gem 💎 Thank you...

This is my first time with the new owners. And I can honestly say we will not be back. The food was overcooked. My husband's hamburger was rubbery. The catfish was all batter. The fries had no seasoning the coleslaw had no flavor. And The waitress failed to tell us that the sides are not included with the meal. So when we got up to pay, it was a unexpected amount because they charge you for every side. Whether you order it with hamburger or chicken fingers, it's not included and she did not let us know that. We were asked if we wanted aside. Not that it was a separate charge. We used to come to Pete's every weekend for all you can eat catfish. I'm sad to see things are so diffbrent and so is...
