Subway — Restaurant in Kentucky

Food is fresh and subs are well made. Restaurant is clean. Workers are friendly, helpful, and masters of their art, especially Tristian who definitely deserves a raise. Even when they are slammed and he’s the only one there, he’s a rockstar and knocked it out of the park with a smile on his face. If you’re a regular, they remember you. The sandwiches are so good; Italian bread is where it’s at. Sandwich in photo is smashed because I smashed it down so it would fit in my mouth, and I also requested the Italian bread with the crispiest cheese 😋. If you ask them for extra veggies like I do, they’ll hook it up and you’ll have leftovers for later if it’s a foot long 😉 The staff works so hard and efficiently, I like to leave a tip when I eat there! They have tables inside, outside, and a drive through. There is also an (exceptionally delicious) ice cream machine right there, which goes perfect with their cookies! This subway is inside of an IGA, so it’s adjacent to all the conveniences that they offer like Shell gas pumps, groceries, farm fresh produce and other farmers market items, propane exchange, firewood, often watermelons plants and pumpkins and other seasonal items. Staff lies to their customers instead of trying to fix their mistakes. My husband and I both put in separate orders for pickup. I even placed my specific order after his. When he got home with the orders, his sandwich was incorrect (wrong bread, not toasted). We both ordered italian herbs and cheese. When he called to see if they could remake or refund him, a guy told him that they were “out of italian herbs and cheese bread, so they used the next best thing, and his sandwich was toasted but it was sitting for too long so it got cold.” My sandwich was made on italian herbs and cheese (and again, I placed my order after him), so that was clearly a lie. Also, if it was true, why would you not call your customers to explain that to them, and offer to put it on different bread before making it, or at least mention this at pickup? Already bad customer service. As for it being “toasted”, he took at most 20 minutes to pick it up and get back home (the app said it could take 20 minutes until it was even ready), and it’s very obvious when opening the sandwich that the cheese wasn’t ever melted for it to be toasted originally. We were willing to just come get a remade sandwich, but instead, we got snappy, rude LYING customer service. Wish I could...

Had a to-go order that was ordered 20 mins before I arrived. Had to wait 10 mins at the counter because 3 employees were busy making sandwiches and ignoring the guy looking at the sandwich in a bag that was ready. When I finally got this girl attention with purple hair I asked if that was my order that was ready behind her. She instantly said “no” before I was done asking. So, I went to the back of the line and when the manager asked me what I wanted I told him the name on the order and he grabbed the sandwich that the purple headed girl said wasn’t mine. Fire her immediately. Someone that orders food ahead of time shouldn’t have to wait that long while their sandwich just sits on the counter feet away. Thanks Ethan.
