I stopped for lunch on a Tuesday at 1:30 pm and the place was so busy, I had to wait for the only table open to be wiped down. I was seated after a few minutes and the owner came right over and took my order. This place doesn’t have a lot of ambiance, but it was clean and looked in good shape. There was a special menu by the cashier. The regular menu was half breakfast and half lunch/dinner. It was not a large menu, but everyone should find something. One thing for sure, this place is extremely reasonably priced. Everything on the menu was very reasonable. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes, gravy and corn. I was served my lunch after about a 5 min wait, which considering how busy it was, was faster than I expected. Everything looked good. It was not the largest piece of steak, but you got way more than the price they charged. It was served with a hot buttered roll, which was soft and very tasty. The steak was tender, and the breading was very flavorful. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth. The gravy was not too thick, but just right. I wish this place was close to my house, I would eat here all the time. I can’t wait to come back and try something different.

Weirdest country cooking I've ever had. Fried potatoes were just bizarre. Bone dry. Shoe leather color. Rubbery. No taste. Ham slice had a palm sized bone in it. Biscuit was dense and chewy not fluffy. Service was incredibly slow. Best thing about this place is that the prices are crazy cheap. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Went for lunch, I had the ham steak breakfast and the wife had the chicken fried steak. Both entrees were delicious, the coleslaw and potato salad were the bomb! The 3 stars for service is because they are short people to work, and it took 45 mins to get our food. I definitely recommend Tammy's! The food is outstanding!

We stopped at Tammy's on our way back home from Frankfort, we are glad that we did. We got there about 3 PM and easily found parking. After we were seated our server was Tammy herself. We had several questions about the food, and she patiently answered everyone. The food was excellent, and the service was prompt. I had a hamburger, chips, and banana pudding. My wife had the catfish ("the best she has ever eaten"), potato salad, cornbread, and green beans. My wife's grandmother was from Tennessee, and the food was just as good, if not better, than Grandma's. While we were eating, we had a chance to visit Tammy's husband for quite a while, he was just as nice and friendly as Tammy was. We will be back on our next trip to Frankfort; we may even just make a special trip just to eat...

Food is really, really good. Prices are more than fair. Staff is friendly have no issues with answering questions. Tanmy herself took our order and i love that! If they're busy (and they seem to stay pretty steady) it can take a little bit for the food to come out but the second it's up, its at your table nice and hot! Plenty of seating. Family atmosphere and service dogs are allowed.

This was my first visit but I'll definitely be back. I want to try everything on their menu! Well, almost...
