Arby's — Restaurant in Kentwood

I went to this Arby’s drive thru -ordered 2 classics & potato cakes-there were no other cars in the lot & one car in the drive thru in front of me which had pulled forward. After I paid the cashier asked me to pull forward. I noticed the car in front of me handed a kid who brought the food money . When I pulled up after that car left. I noticed a note taped to the rod iron by where I pulled to. The note said. Please tip the runner. Then the kid ( he was probably 12 came out with a piece of register tape & a sharpie asking me to sign it stating I would tip him for bringing my food. I told him I wouldn’t sign anything but I could give him a dollar. He went back in & got my food & brought it to me & said “that’s a dollar” I did give him a dollar. I asked him if he was employed by Arby’s & he said yes. If this is the practice thru Arby’s I won’t return-it actually made me wonder what other kind of shady stuff might be happening with the food. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. One time when I went through the Drive Thru, the guy actually asked if I wanted my change back...after he had already closed the drawer. Then when I said yes, I had to wait for a manger to come open the drawer back up so he could give me MY change! Another time, I received the wrong order. So I called and was told by the manager that I could come back for a "free meal" which I did several days later. I received a BIG attitude when I went back in. Third times a charm- I ordered mozzarella sticks (which I have never had from Arby's before). Before I pulled off, I checked my bag because of previous experiences at this location and there was no marinara sauce. I asked if marinara sauce comes with the sticks and she shouted at me that it was in the bag. I told her it wasn't, she rolled her eyes and handed me a sauce. After all this, they weren't even warm and were kind of nasty. The only reason I keep going back to this location is because it is RIGHT by my office. But, I think I have learned my lesson and suffered...

Most of the time you can fly right through the drive-thru. Once in awhile you might have to wait a few minutes that's the only reason I'm not giving them the perfect five stars. The staff is always friendly. The food always comes out hot and fresh. I have to change this. It depends on what manager is working. There's a lady that works there in the evenings.And they pick , but your food comes out hot and one time. Then they have a young man working and You can be guaranteed to wait for your food forever.Your fries come out cold and so to your sandwiches. And I think it's just part of his personality.He looks like he hates his life never smiles. We work near by and a few of us would go for our lunch at night and We all have had the same issue with this guy. I'm done going there. I'm tired of chancing it whether or not i'm going to have good service and hot food or cold food...
