First of all, waitress seemed shocked to learn that clam chowder was on the menu. My girlfriend ordered the chicken pot pie with stewed apples and mac n cheese. Th on toppot pie looked ok but not appetiz. The apples were cold. The mac n cheese was absolutely disgusting. I ordered the pork souvlaki, which was supposed to come with two vegetables. I didn’t want two vegetables, I wanted a Greek salad. At first the waitress acted like I couldn’t do it but then agreed that she could substitute the vegetables for the Greek salad. The pork was super dry. The tzatziki sauce was good, but lacked dill. My so called Greek salad was a large bowl of iceberg lettuce, a few pieces of tomato on one side and two cucumber slices on the other side with one pepperoncini on top. No feta, no olives…I thought this was supposed to be Greek and American faire? At any rate, they are getting 3 stars instead of 2 because the cashier knocked $10 off the bill.
Positive notes, the service was friendly and the...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My fiancé and I ordered food to go. He has a shellfish allergy, but can eat fish (I.e catfish, whiting, etc). He specifically told them that he has a shellfish allergy so that the proper measures could be taken when preparing the catfish he ordered. We do this at every restaurant where seafood is a main part of their menu. After getting home, we settled in and he began eating his catfish. After the first bite he mentioned that it didn’t taste right. Then he began complaining of an itchy throat and his throat began to close. We are now sitting at the emergency room. If they cannot or will not take shellfish allergies serious and prepare the fish separately from the shellfish then they need to forewarn people. I watched my fiancé lose his breathing and almost DIE because of this. We will NEVER...
Read more. They brought us here for dinner. I exWe were visiting relatives from out of townpected some Greek food. I grew up on Greek food. Don't expect Greek food!
The food was mediocre in my opinion. I had salmon with pinto beans and fresh tomatoes, as I am a pescatarian. It was ok. I've definitely had better. My husband had spaghetti with meat sauce and meat balls. He said the sauce was ok. The meatballs seemed frozen. Again, ok.
There seemed to be a lot of fried things on the menu. Why? My mother-in-law ordered salmon with a side of summer squash, and it came fried! This was not on the menu as fried. She didn't want it fried! Not even a Greek salad on menu.
Don't bother stopping here. The food isn't worth it. And you can't have a conversation due to the many young children screaming and...
