My wife and I had a wonderful brunch experience at Linnette’s. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which were fantastic, perfectly cooked, large shrimp paired with creamy stone-ground grits. I added two eggs over easy on top, and it was the perfect complement, adding richness to every bite. My wife went with the chocolate flapjacks, and they were fluffy, decadent, and delicious with the syrup. The atmosphere was equally impressive. The bar is beautifully designed with warm wicker accents and soft lighting, and the outdoor seating area offers serene marsh views that make for a relaxing meal. It’s the kind of place that feels both elegant and comfortable. Overall, great food, beautiful setting, and attentive service, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for brunch on Kiawah!

I had an amazing time here with my girlfriend. The view is absolutely beautiful, and the inside is just as stunning. It has such a classy and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to sit back and enjoy every moment. The burger I had was really tasty, and the drinks were just as impressive. I would definitely recommend trying a few while you’re here. Our server was super friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of the entire time. It’s a peaceful spot with a quiet atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing morning if you want to get away from the city for a bit. The area it’s located in is beautiful and adds to the overall charm. I would definitely recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself.

We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Linnette’s during our stay and every meal was a standout. Dishes were consistently fresh, plated beautifully, and (almost always) locally sourced, which you can taste in the quality. Lunch might have been my favorite: the shrimp po’boy was spot-on and the fries cooked in tallow were something special being crispy, savory, and addictive. Mornings were a joy too, the coffee is phenomenal. Service was attentive and fast without ever feeling rushed; food came out promptly and the staff checked in at the right moments. The whole experience felt relaxed, polished, and very well run. No complaints, just a genuinely excellent restaurant. Highly recommend.

EDIT:9.27.25 Executive Chef Michael himself contacted me to make things right with the host error. This is what I consider 'unreasonable hospitality' (read the book!) and am impressed with the level of his care. I changed my star to 5 from 4!

My favorite restaurant on the island! Absolutely gorgeous! I've gone 5-6 times now since moving down near the resort two months ago. I order the same thing each time: the green tomato martini, oysters, and brown butter crab rice. Absolutely phenomenal and high quality preparation and consistency. Service is great. I always take half of my rice home (it is pricey---yet worth it!) and tonight, I left it behind on accident, and realized it 10 minutes after I left. I called the restaurant, and it had been discarded. I am extremely disappointed that they did not offer to make a new batch for me or give me some sort of reconciliation for it. It is literally gold! Anyhow, that is how good it is! Lesson learned to pay...

What an EXPERIENCE - the attention to detail is out of this world, from the warm welcome to the exquisite decor to the elevated menu. Austin and Finn made our night especially sparkly, recommending exactly the right selections for us and helping us feel perfectly at home. The pickled shrimp was my favorite dish, plus I enjoyed the best mocktails I’ve ever had (and equally delicious cocktails for my husband). We began our evening with drinks downstairs in the Willet Room and then proceeded upstairs to Linnette’s for dinner. The building is stunning, absolutely gorgeous. I am smitten with the birdcage decor, modern southern furnishings, handbound vintage-inspired menus and depression era glass bowl for my sorbet. This wasn’t just dinner, it was truly a...
