My friend invited me to eat here. We were getting some simple wings. We got there Friday around like 12 dayshift and there was no one else in there. We’re the only people there was one bartender behind the bar. She said that we could sit anywhere but we had to order from her at the bar, which means we had to walk from wherever we was sitting constantly to go place orders at the bar so we ordered at the bar that was fine. We went and found seating outside. We ordered simple things, wings, eggrolls, and some drinks and a shot and that was it I got my wings. My wings were cold and when I say cold, I mean like they have never been warmed up at all the eggrolls were cold as well, but they were doable. The taste was OK. The texture of the eggroll wasn’t but that’s OK. I sent my wings back because they were super cold. 10 wings cold Took me a little minute to get some service because they were now conversing with other people at the bar, which is understandable ended up giving them the wings back letting them know that they were super cold so they said that they would take care of them so about maybe 10 minutes later they bring me the wings mind you never an apology or anything for the wings being initially cold I said OK brought the wings back again. I literally picked up one of the wings. Yes, it was a little bit warm on the outside, but then when you bit the wings, it was completely still cold like all of them the barbecue and the hot that I got so I’m like this ain’t it so here I am taking it back to the bar mind you were sitting outside so we’re having to go back inside to the bar Now it’s another bartender behind there, but she’s the same one that took the wings back last time when they were cold, so at this point, they’re chatting it up. It’s a manager I guess that they are chatting it as well. I had to like clear my throat and say excuse me because they weren’t paying attention to me over there on the other side of the bar about an inch away so when I tell them like these are cold and so then she just sent the manager over there, which is OK yes he comes over there. I’m like no I need you to fill these like physically touch these wings like why are they cold like a icebox cold so then he goes to proceed to say that the sauce may possibly be cold no Say my first time eating wings so he then takes them back to go get remade here. I am waiting another 15 minutes mind we had already been there for about 30 or whatever so no type of accommodation nothing I’m we’re just gonna remake the wings. OK cool get the wings back by the time they come I’m at this point. I’m ready to go. We’ve been there for about an hour and a half now like this was kinda not what I expected from the trip and I have never been here so we go we go check out. My bill is about $86 mind you we have two margaritas mango and one was peach so then we had a shot of Jose Cuervo, which should’ve been cheap. I’m not sure and then we had 10 wings the eggrolls and then my friend had a five piece wings came out to $86 when I tell you I had to ask what was $20 when I tell them two eggrolls mine do we got two eggrolls and they’re about nine dollars apiece plus tax so I was like that’s very weird. OK anyway pay for it but then when nothing was done regarding the wings like no type of accommodation you’ve wasted my time you’ve wasted my lunch like that was just a horrible experience for the first time and the only thing they said was like we hope you guys come back like no why would I ever come back or recommend this place to anyone I pay my $86 I learned my lesson and I got up out of there. Been wanting to stop in here for months after two coworkers mentioned the place within the same week. We had some time to kill and it was around noon on a Sunday which wasn't busy in pre-football season.

We went a little safe as there are so many options on the menu. Orders are made at the bar area and we selected their B.Y.O.Burger (bacon, pepperjack cheese and BBQ sauce) and a pepperoni pizza. I saw the brick pizza oven in back and stepped out on the back patio in time to catch the employee pulling ours out of the oven. She graciously allowed me to snap a quick photo to show you the oven. The patio area is beautiful and has a stage for bands that I fully expect to come back to experience.

The pizza arrived first. We didn't know we needed to ask for plates and parmesean cheese. So it took us a few minutes to figure that out. Love the thin crust on it and the sauce reminded her of a canned sauce...I was alright with it but the wife not so much. The burger was the star of the show. Juicy, thick and gorgeous, it hit the spot. Love the sidewinder fries you see in the video. I should have thought ahead and asked for ketchup.

Overall, a great experience and some things we know to do next time. Curious to the chicken items and tacos on the menu so we will probably...

Rude service. Extremely uptight. I understand enforcing rules and standards, however, they take it to another level.

You have to ID everyone, I understand. However, forcing someone over 50 who looks over 80 to show ID is overkill and doesn’t happen at most places. Limiting customers to one drink purchase at a time, and not allowing them to purchase drinks for others in the group who have already been ID’d unless they are at the bar. This, again, is overkill. Accepting multiple drink orders from a customer, only to tell them they can have one at a time after they’ve already been charged. This led to me being charged for 4 drinks when I only received 2. Closing early. If you’re going to advertise drinks served until a certain time, then you should honor that. Don’t refuse service 20 minutes prior to last call unless you’re going to announce last call. Atmosphere. We felt like a burden. Glares, attitude when ordering, and judgement on the drinks we ordered.

Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a relaxing spot to have a few beers with friends avoid this place at all costs. There are definitely better options in Killeen. My team will never...
