Been almost 35yrs since I've been in this place. Back in the day we used to grab grinders here to bring to school or lunch for work. It has changed tremendously. Driving bye today, saw a sign for Lobster Rolls. My wife not from New England always craves them when we come around, so I was like let's give it try. Much different inside now and seems much more granola then back in the day. There were 2 nice ladies working inside. They still had some grinders, but also a bunch of deli style foods.. Mac n Cheese, 3 bean salad, potato salad all freshly prepared here. I saw that they also severed hot dogs. We order 2 Lobster Rolls, a Coney, a small order of Loaded potato salad. There is a cooler with a good selection of drinks, but was excited to see of of the Ole Strawberry Soad. They also had a few shelves of chips and candy. Also had some clam cake mix, clams and clam juice for sell. We sat outside on the 2 little tables they had. Our food was brought out to us. I'll start with the Coney... I'll rank it probably in my top 2 Coneys of all time and I go out of my way to find them. The meat sauce was excellent, not to runny, good distribution of mustard and onion and enough celery salt to give it a little seasoning. The hot dog was perfectly cooked, no snap and bun was nice and soft. I will be back to have some more of these. The Lobster rolls were good, but nothing to special. You got a good portion on a slightly crispy hoagie roll, which I thought was too much bread for a L. Roll. The lobster was good, we got it hot, so they just pour the butter over the top. Some of the lobster didnt have much of a butter taste. The bottom of the roll ended up getting a little soggy from soaking up the butter. So it really just tasted like I picked a lobster and then just put on some bread. It was good tasting Lobster, just as a Lobster Roll I've had much better. If you just want some straight lobster this is for you. Again not bad. I will come again and try some other things. I think they do a good job preparing home made type items. It a tiny little place and easy to whizz by, but it's well worth a stop and...

Not a fan AT ALL. Heard some good things of this sandwich shop in the past so decided to give it a try for the second time (because the first time the food, specifically the seafood Mac and cheese had something weird in it and wasn’t good- tasted kind of spoiled). Second time, the girl was not friendly over the phone. The onions on the sandwich tasted so bitter and so ROTTEN, the cheese tasted like literally plastic (it was not authentic American cheese) AND there was a huge OLIVE PIT in my sandwich that almost broke my tooth.. mind you the olives were cut in all small pieces and they use their hands to prepare the sandwich and didn’t feel that BIG HARD PIT? 🤔 I will NEVER go back to this joint and if you’re reading this —— you’re better off going to subway. I regret giving them my money AND a tip especially after they couldn’t even spot me 1 cent so I wouldn’t have to break a bigger bill and I STILL gave them a tip (mind you I didn’t expect them to, I just know I would have had it been me- but now that since the food was garbage and the whole experience- I just figured I’d let it all be known) My tooth is still hurting and the taste of the rotten onions is still in my...

I used to get subs here when I was a little kid visiting my grandparents. I was in town for the first time in many years today to visit the cemetery, and I planned to stop in to get a grinder. The “welcome” from the woman behind the counter was tepid! When I walked in she just asked “you ordered?” I said “no.” She took a minute to be bothered to find a pad and a pen and then just looked at me and raised her eyebrows. I ordered an Italian grinder with everything. She asked, “well what do you want on it? There’s a list of condiments down there.” I told her what I wanted and then asked if she could toast it. She rolled her eyes at me and asked, “you want it toasted?” I just said yes. She didn’t say anything more until it was done, and then just “it’s all set.” On the way out, another woman from in back shouted “thank you.” It’s by no means the same kind of friendly folks who used to be there, but the grinder was great! So five stars for the grinder and zero for the service, gets three stars overall; and next time, I’ll...

Please support this cute small business. Never seen a deli/take out like it. Before I even ordered, I noticed how customers were waiting with positive anticipation.I knew I was in for something good. I ordered their famous Italian sub and their house Chilli. The sub was out of this world, all fresh ingredients blended so well. Just the right spice too. Bread nice and crispy. The Chilli was very unique in flavor, very meaty and fulfilling. The establishment is very small, not very comfy but has lots of fun detail. The owner was the one cooking. She was so kind and seemed to really enjoy what she does. This place is a must try
