In short: I’m VERY glad we chose Club Vega for dinner! Delicious food, great value, and terrific service!
In length: My group of 6 stopped for dinner on Labor Day on our way out of the Black Hills/Badlands area. We ordered from both the breakfast and dinner menu; Prime Philly Bowl (yum!), omelet, a couple French Dips (menu doesn’t specify prime rib for this, but it was the good stuff), fried shrimp, fried pickles (yum!), The Walker, Vega Garlic Fries, and possibly more. The place does have a cool country vibe to it. There is a large capacity. It kind of resembles a hall. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that they rent this place out to locals for occasions. There is also a little room in the back.
Overall, there is no picture of the steak on my wall. But Club Vega is a pretty nice place...

Nice, clean bar/restaurant. The waitress provided reliable information about items on the menu. The food was good. The salad bar was well stocked.
Travelers need to support places like Club Vega. Otherwise we may see the day when we don't have an alternative to the chain restaurants that tend to cluster around the interstates and offer bland food with...
