In short: I’m VERY glad we chose Club Vega for dinner! Delicious food, great value, and terrific service! In length: My group of 6 stopped for dinner on Labor Day on our way out of the Black Hills/Badlands area. We ordered from both the breakfast and dinner menu; Prime Philly Bowl (yum!), omelet, a couple French Dips (menu doesn’t specify prime rib for this, but it was the good stuff), fried shrimp, fried pickles (yum!), The Walker, Vega Garlic Fries, and possibly more. The food was fresh, the prime rib was quality meat (available in several dishes), and the coffee was perfect. We all left completely satisfied. This place is nice and clean, conveniently located only about half mile from the freeway, and the name is pretty freaking cool (my last name). The particular street location looked lonely, but I’m a city girl and it was also a holiday. Thankfully we avoided Wall Drug food that day, because an appetite for real food and angels led us here. This was the BEST food we had the entire trip. I suggest they open a Club Vega in Wall, SD.

We were traveling and this was the closest restaurant on the way back. I called and asked for burgers to go and they were hot, ready, and all packed up for us just after we got there!!! She even portioned everything in half since we were splitting fries and onion rings and she cut the burgers and wrapped them in foil!!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! BEST BURGERS AND RINGS EVER!!!! Delicious food, great atmosphere, and apparently rock star service! Never been happier with a food choice while traveling, and it's going to make it hard to compare or beat that experience! Thanks a bunch. ☺️

Stopped in town for the night and came here because they had some great reviews. We were not disappointed! Cocktails were good and consistent. For dinner, we got the meat lovers pizza, just a real simple dinner. Considering we're from Chicago, and can be pretty picky with pizza, this was probably the best pizza we've had outside of our city!! Definitely worth stopping in if your on the road looking for a place to eat! We were also able to buy a 6pack of beer to go back to our hotel with!

I came in here a couple of years ago, driving from Rapid City to Detroit.

The place wasn't bad. I was, however, expecting a little more out of the steak. I mean, it wasn't bad. But with a 4.7 rating at a steakhouse in the middle of South Dakota, I was expecting a steak that I could practically take a picture of and put it on my wall.

The place does have a cool country vibe to it. There is a large capacity. It kind of resembles a hall. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that they rent this place out to locals for occasions. There is also a little room in the back.

Overall, there is no picture of the steak on my wall. But Club Vega is a pretty nice place...

We took our grandchildren on a Dakota vacation in June. Kimball SD was our stopping point on the return home. Small Town, getting towards evening, received a recommendation from a fan at the little league game to go to Club Vega.

Nice, clean bar/restaurant. The waitress provided reliable information about items on the menu. The food was good. The salad bar was well stocked.

Travelers need to support places like Club Vega. Otherwise we may see the day when we don't have an alternative to the chain restaurants that tend to cluster around the interstates and offer bland food with...
