Blue Knob Club House — Restaurant in Kimmel Township

We went there for pizza. We were waited on rather quickly. We got our drink order in a timely manner. Unfortunately there was an oven malfunction. We were notified of the malfunction about an hour into being there. We ended up waiting about an hour and twenty minutes to get our food. We were offered a complimentary beverage for the wait. The pizzas came out at the same time. Unfortunately the pizza was too doughy when it came out. The sauce unfortunately gave one of my friends heartburn. For me the pizza wasn't the best. It just didn't taste too good. It was very doughy and the slices were limp. I also thought there was too much sauce on the pizza. We also ordered a Black & Bleu Burger which I ate and it was delicious. Not the best but also not the worst. If we were to go there again it would not be for the pizza. We were there on last Saturday night. We have ate at the clubhouse when we’re in the area but this time we were very disappointed. Our server, Emily, was fantastic even though she was visibly overwhelmed. There was another waitress and she was just as busy. The place was packed and music was good. There was a girl that came in to eat but she saw how busy the waitresses were and she began to clear tables to help them. We waited awhile for our food and spoke to the table next to us. They told us that the manager and owner were outside drunk and not helping the staff. They also stated that it’s been a common thing recently. I had one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten anywhere. Service was terrible. They were busy. My table ordered 2 burgers & fries and some boneless wings. Took well over an hour. And that was after waiting over 30 minutes before somebody took our order. Tables much larger than ours that came in up to 45 minutes after us received their food long before us. No refills on drinks were offered until we were ready to leave, about 2 hours into our visit.
