I’ve gone to this Sonic a half dozen times or so after picking up my grandkids after school. Each visit has been for slushes only, and each time the wait was long. I assumed this was because the restaurant was fairly new, and so was the staff. They have always asked for me to repeat the order after reading it back to me incorrectly, and it’s always taken a while. Yesterday was more than likely my last visit there. I pulled into the drive through lane, noticing there was only one other customer there. It took several minutes before a young man even took my order (2 small slushes and 2 medium slushes). He read my order back to me, but I couldn’t understand anything he said. Luckily there was a screen showing that my order was correct. I pulled up to the window and there was music blaring so loud that I had to roll my window up while I waited. After a long wait, a young guy came to take my credit card & closed the window again, never turning down the volume of the music. After a few more minutes I noticed him grabbing some cups to begin making our order. After another 5 to 6 minutes, a different young man appeared at the window. He turned the music down, opened the window, and started handing me the drinks. I frowned as I saw all of the drinks were smalls, and told him that 2 of them should have been medium. He apologized and said that someone must have misheard my order. Even though I know I paid for the larger drinks, I just told him I would take what was made, and then I left, just shy of 15 minutes later. The place isn’t “new” anymore. It needs some adults that can handle responsibility. This place is being run by kids, and I know I’m not the first to say that I won’t be going back. There are plenty of other options around. It’s too bad, because Sonic has always been one of our favorites. This one just can’t seem to get it...
Read moreIf I could give it no stars I would. They always mess up on orders but hey they are human!!! But today is unforgivable I just wanted some food and a drink after a grueling 12 hr shift... They brought out the drinks one was nothing but ice and maybe a splash of cola, you couldn't even shake this thing and hear ice that's how packed it was. And the other one was not what we asked for so I kindly asked her to fix it she got pissed said that's how they made them grabbed the one full of ice went to angrily snatch up the second one and the whole thing dumped in my BRAND NEW 2014 FORD FOCUS!!!! I about lost it completely if it would have slipped okay I would be upset but she snatched it up so hard it dumped everywhere I have worked my entire life blood, sweat, and tears to finally have something nice I can call my own and THIS lady was pissed off because THEY got the order wrong and dumped cola all over my paint, inside of my window, AND ALL OVER THE DOORS ELECTRICAL PANEL!!!! I'm beyond livid!!!! And can't find a telephone number to contact corporate directly. I'm disgusted the employees...

They obviously can't keep people working there because every time you go it's a new group of people who are "sorry" and "are all new " and those will be the excuses for ordering ahead on their app driving to their store and waiting till almost every stall is empty after "checking in" then when you've had enough dont wanna wait any longer for carnival food and just want your money back they will bring you a receipt with their corporate number hand written on it not a refund or anything stating their refunding your money... it's 11 days after the fact all this happened and I've still yet to receive my money back. This company is a bunch of thiefs hoping you forget you didn't get to eat or your money back in a timely manner well I haven't forgot. And I'll never pay money to eat at another one of sonics stores no matter who owns the franchise I've been to the one by my job in wichita and their always messing food up not having all the ingredients to make their food proper but accept the money without warning anyone paying...
