Summary: Inexperienced waitress makes many mistakes, but still charges full price. When manager is requested, she haggles with customers who just had a terrible dining experience..

I see quite a few responses from the owner to other recent poor reviews. But my experience tells me that no real changes are being made.

My husband, daughter, and I went for dinner this past Saturday. Our waitress was friendly but made multiple mistakes which I assume was due to inexperience. We asked what the egg rolls of the week were and she said steak and cheese. That's what we wanted so we ordered them. However, we got buffalo chicken egg rolls.. when we pointed this out, the waitress said the kitchen must have changed the egg rolls but forgot to tell her. She said they must be out of steak and cheese egg rolls (not that she bothered to go confirm this) and so she could only offer to take away the buffalo chicken ones if we didn't want them. Because we already placed our full order and didn't want to find a replacement we just said to leave them (we also knew they would just go in the trash which is a waste of food). Next our main meals came out. A burger for me and a chicken sandwich for my husband. Only problem was he ordered a pizza, not a sandwich. The waitress checked the computer and laughed about how she put in the wrong thing and said she would put the pizza in right away. I ate my burger because I knew it would get cold and we could only keep our 9 month daughter entertained for so long.. My husband's pizza came out after I had finished eating so he just asked for a box so we could go. His pizza was not even what he ordered. He had specifically asked for grilled chicken on the chicken bacon ranch pizza. The waitress had said they can do that or at least she thinks they can... Turns out she didn't actually ask, she just looked for a button to do it on her computer. (This is why a chicken sandwich came out.. because typing in grilled chicken took her to a sandwich, not a pizza). Since it was not an option for the pizza, she just put it in the way it normally comes and didn't bother to mention that to us to confirm we still wanted it. I could deal with allllllllllllllllllll that, because she was clearly inexperienced. But then she brought us the bill and everything was on it.... full price. When we respectfully brought up that we shouldn't pay for everything (especially not the appetizer that wasn't what we ordered), she went to ask her manager. She came back to say we could get 50% off the appetizer we didn't order, because we still ate it. So we asked to speak to the manager. The manager came by and defended why she only was giving us 50% off the appetizer. She begrudgingly agreed to take it off completely and made us feel like we were being unreasonable...

Worth noting that another waiter walked by our table after all this and said "I'm with you.. I would have just taken it off the bill in the first place"

The food is pretty mediocre, but there are so few places to eat around here, bummer we have to cross this one...

Had a couple of friends join us here about 3:45 pm Saturday January 26 . We ordered drinks at bar before they arrived to get a table for 4 near Waitress/waiter computer station . He had Coors Light and I had Absolute/Cranberry from bar . Excellent . Had same from table but my Absolute/Cranberry was more Cranberry. Waiter took care of that and brought more vodka to take care of that . Boyfriend and friend wanted another beer but couldn't find waiter . Manager and another waitress overheard our conversation and took care of us . Order for appetizers were taken and Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Tater Tot with cheese and Bacon Bits w/scallions were excellent ! My main meal of beef tips with garlic mashed potatoes were excellent except I ordered Medium Well and some were very rare which boyfriend had to eat . He had 18 oz Ribeye as rare as possible. Did not specify bone In and not as rare as he likes and not to seasoned .(suggest restaurant has form to say and agree to problems as to rare , but he's willing to pay for what he wants) Asparagus on side was perfectly cooked . Didn't know it came with it but suggest to let customer know so if they don't know it came with it so they can get different side if they want it . He ordered baked beans , nothing to write home about and were a little hard (delivered about 1/2 hr before meal and taken back since wanted them with meal ). Friend ordered 18 oz. Ribeye with FF, his were ok and enjoyed the Asparagus. She had Bleu Burger & Fries . Was not happy with blueberries on burger (scraped them off ). Said Light Blueberry sauce .on menu on it . She assumed it was a burger with bleu cheese (NOT). She ordered FF with it Fries were good but didn't get Asparagus with it like the rest of us which she would of liked . We all enjoyed each other's company and understood they were open only 3 weeks . Kitchen or dining room manager was honest and said they were short staffed and did try to satisfy . All in all we will try again in a month or so . New places need to get there glitches out ! Waiter (Joe or Josh)? was nice . I have worked as waitress in my past in various restaurants and understand once the place gets things straight and staff get all on same page then things will work out . Hope my review helps . Good luck and we will be back . Oh ya , you need at least a wine and beer list , maybe a signature cocktail for the day . Suggest you ad Down East Apple Cider too...

Had to go down to two stars. The first time we went there we enjoyed the layout of the place and the food was very good and the beer cold. My only issue was the service. It wasn't busy while we were there. The owner was on site and stopped by the table to ask how everything was. I told him it was good and the beer was cold but we waited 5 minutes to be served our drinks after ordering them. He apologized and said they were training new hires. Fair enough I thought. Second visit was terrible right from the get go. Sat at the bar this time with a buddy I told about the place. Bartender(very attractive) made eye contact and went about doing everything else but wait on us. Finally I said to her "is the bar open or do we need to sit at a table to get served?" Well if looks could kill I wouldn't be here now to write this. We had one beer and left I was so mad we didn't order any food.(lost sales because of bad service) I also recommended this place to my riding buddy and came from Nashua specifically for this place. That was a mistake. Then another friend says they're having a bike night do I want to go? The dummy I am I agreed to go. Mistake. 5 dollars to park my bike in the parking lot which was filling up quickly that's a lot of $$$$ at 5 bucks a pop. Once inside same story... not properly staffed.15-20 minutes to get a beer. Sucked. Had a beer passed on the food for another 10 bucks for a pulled pork sandwich. Walked around checking out the bikes for awhile then decided to wait for another beer. 15 minutes later plenty of eye contact from the bartender but no service. Never had the second beer. Got on my bike and left for good. I kept it at 2 stars because the food I did get the first time was good. My final vibe was the attractive bartenders are too snobby and full of themselves. Sorry Saddle Up I work hard for my money and I choose not to spend any of it in your poor service driven...
