⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem with Amazing Service, Great Food & Drive-thru!
I stopped by Guave Jalisco Mexican Restaurant while passing through a tiny town, and I’m really glad I did. It looked like it was the only restaurant in town, and I originally just stopped to use the restroom, grab a bite, and let my dog Samantha stretch her legs. The parking lot was large enough for my truck and trailer, which made it an easy stop.
Service – A Standout Experience
The service here really made an impression. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a "Welcome!" by a young man, even though he wasn’t even looking in my direction at the time. That small detail already set the tone for the hospitality of the place.
I was seated and met by a waitress, but the same young man kept bringing my drinks and food and interacting with me at my table. He wasn’t even my actual waiter, yet he took the time to make sure I was taken care of. When I went up to pay, he greeted me again, just as friendly and respectful as before.
I later learned his name was Raymond, and he was about to graduate high school after working at the restaurant for three years. That alone is impressive, but what really stood out was his positive attitude, respect, attention to detail, and common courtesy—something you don’t see at a lot of places these days. He kept addressing me as "sir" and genuinely seemed to care about making the experience enjoyable. Big shoutout to Raymond for doing an amazing job!
Food – Delicious & Well-Priced
🌯 Super Burrito with Prawns – Absolutely delicious! It was packed with flavor, and the prawns were a great addition.
🥡 To-Go Burrito – I ordered an extra one to take with me and ate it a couple of days later—it was...
Read moreI came in and gave the fajitas a try. And i was super disappointed. Come on, if your menu says Fajitas and you've eaten fajitas, you know what they served was nothing near fajita. The pictures on the menu look good yet deceiving. i ordered it, and to my surprise, I told the waitress this is NOT fajita, and she replied well No... but i said it says, and it isn't. Story short if you are labeling and advertising fajita dont be false... put beef or whatever it is to top it all of was super dry. The chicken was over cooked was dried. I did not enjoy my plate and was not well worth the price. It's up to you if you order this dish, but it isn't make me wonder if all dishes are like this false advertisement, especially because it is featured on their menu. I will stick to breakfast instead. I was not a fan of this dish, and pictures speak for themselves. Maybe presintation was nice, but the taste and what the menue says was false. Big No. IYKYK
