came in after a long bike ride of intense cardio. I was greeted by a very kind woman, presumably the owner. She was a wonderful kind woman who explained the menu and what is good for my particular tastes, with a warm smile. The other two women there I talked to were equally as kind and helpful. I am not sure what their names are and who is Amma. I got the red goat stew and it was absolutely delicious. Huge portion, very fair price, lower than comparable food at other places, and perfect taste, just the right amount of spiciness and rich flavor. I will be returning to this place very soon and i reccomend it to anyone who is a fan of international cuisines and new delicious flavors. Thank you Amma’s Kitchen. I am so glad you opened...

Yesterday my life was changed, because I walked into Amma's Kitchen. I was greeted by Amma herself, with a warm smile and friendly service. The atmosphere is chill, with comfortable chairs, nice tables, and positive affirmations spread around. The food? Take your pick. IT'S ALL DELICIOUS. The Red Stew was flavorful, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. Curry Goat. Jerk Chicken. AMAZING. FALLS OFF THE BONE. The Broiled Salmon with Mac n Cheese was drizzled with this zesty vibrant lemon butter dill sauce. I'd put it on everything. The cornbread....ha..You thought you've had cornbread? You'll never eat another cornbread again if it's not how Amma put her heart and soul into preparing those...

We drove from Baltimore to this restaurant that was featured and WBAL TV. It serves a combination of American, African and Caribbean cuisine. The employees were very nice. Made suggestions of what to try. We had the fried fish with jollof rice, coco bread and a second entree of ginger chicken with jollof rice. Both entrees were cooked to order. Arrived hot and steamy. Seasoned well. 2 large pieces of Swai fish perfectly fried along with a flavorful jollof rice. Needed the cabbage but wasn't ready at the time The ginger chicken was good. A little kick from the ginger but not overly spicy. Good portion size. A portion of the proceeds are returned to help other countries with girls and women...
