If I could rate this place a -10 I would. Honestly we were all so disappointed. We love a good bbq joint and the reviews for this place were amazing. But that is honestly just false advertisement. We stopped on our way through and we’re the only customers there. It took 15-20 to be able to order our drinks and appetizers. Honestly the nachos were the only good thing on the menu that we got. When we got our food, our “pulled” pork sandwich was huge chunks of just pork slopped with the most sweetest stickiest bbq sauce honestly three bites of it and we were just too grossed out. We also order a burger. It came on two thin tiny pieces of bread. As soon as my husband took a bite it fell apart and half of the burger slipped out onto the floor. Honestly the whole burger belonged there… on the floor.. never got refills on our drinks until we had to finally asked for it although the waitress had been to our table 2-3 times without offering to get us more drinks. She was too busy sitting at the bar talking to her friend. Our Mac and cheese was straight soup. Nothing but a brick of velveta melted down to a thin liquid and drowned the noodles. Yeah. I can't even think of anything bad to say about this place. God it's been here, out in the middle of nowhere, probably 30 years and every time I've ever eaten in this place it has been fire. Beer is always cold the drinks are always right on I just had half a rack of ribs and the meat was just falling off the bones it was cooked perfectly I tried their brisket too, it was so so good and has this twang I couldn't quite put my finger on. We had their fried pickles for appetizer and after the fourth one I realized they were pretty spicy because it left a long lingering aftertaste . Started sweating and had to get a beer. Service was great. Always has been. The environment exactly what you would expect from a little honky tonk place out in the middle of nowhere. Everyone's very friendly and the energy is always good. We ordered a quesadilla, a club sandwich and mozzarella sticks. The quesadilla comes with your choice of veggies, sour cream and salsa. We didn’t get the sour cream and salsa and the veggies were not on the quesadilla but stuffed in the box next to it. The club sandwich was 2 inches of lettuce with 3 pieces of ham and shredded bacon, I could make a better sandwich in my sleep. And the mozzarella sticks didn’t come with marinara but we got 4 sides of ranch??? When you walk in the waitresses are taking shots with the customers and fail to notice you until you lean across the bar and stop them. In short, this is not a restaurant it’s a hub for town drunks. 10/10 do not recommend.
