Kittitas Cafe — Restaurant in Kittitas

Kittitas Cafe is easily the best Cafe in Kittitas, Ellensburg, heck the whole of Kittitas County! Not only are you treated like a dear friend/family member, this establishment serves up the most consistent coffee/espresso in the valley, has breakfast and lunch items that are to die for, and the vibe is always right.

They have been extremely conscious of both cost to consumer and serving the highest quality ingredients. Frankly, as someone who used to work within the food service industry, I know they are profiting less in order to provide their consumer more and I'm so blown away by that approach.

Whether you take your coffee on the side patio on a blustery spring day, cozy up inside during the winter, or venture out onto the back patio in the fall to catch the last days of autumn, you cannot go wrong. We also love their summer concert series and that mom's can go have a few adult beverages in a kiddo friendly space with friends, good music, and great company. All around, I'd give more stars if I could.

Stopped by Kittitas Cafe this morning for a mid morning breakfast and espresso with a friend. This morning was the first time dining here and I will most definitely be back! I've heard all good things about this fairly new place in town. The atmosphere was inviting with a small hometown feel! Bright open dining area filled with windows. The quaint tables were filled with visitors enjoying their meals/coffee, from local farmers, families, elderly town residents and local police. This definitely seems like the spot to be for a quick coffee break, breakfast or lunch! The staff welcomed you in upon arrival and made nice small talk like they've known you forever! That's the thing I love about small towns ❤️ I ordered the eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was to die for!! Homemade cheesy goodness, not the run of the mill pre packaged sauce like most breakfast eatery's use. Perfect crispy hash browns, no mush! The menu prices were very fair for the quality of the food you receive! This will most definitely be our new go to breakfast/lunch spot! The atmosphere is amazing; I wanted to stay for hours. (unfortunately, they don't serve cocktails, only beer, or I'd have stayed longer for sure!)

The staff clearly works great together, and they're always buzzing about keeping the place refreshed—and stopping to say hi to babies!

I didn't order any food for myself because I was trying not to spend much money that day. My kids got the turkey and ham sandwiches, which sounded plain but were actually delicious and quite large for expected! I wish I'd been there for a full meal because everything that came out to other tables looked amazing. All the tables were happy and it just felt like summer vibes the whole time—oh yeah! the outdoor seating area is where we were. They have indoor seating that I realized is more like a lobby, although you can seat yourself there—but through the back and outdoors is where it's at!
