Nice well stocked store and restaurant. Good prices and they have a butcher department. _________________Update for LA Esperanza store and restaurant, Fri night I ordered a 14.99 meal and a 9.99 meal off their online menu, and 8 tacos when I got there to pick up, also bought a package of tortillas and a box of candy, now I know how much this comes to because we always get tacos and candy (The same all the time), I used my gift card from my birthday, and somehow they put a balance too, with none of the card numbers showing "like usual, my total bill is 75.88! Now the gift card I used is non-refillable and a no cash back card, so now it's not possible to get the over charge returned and all of a sudden its,"no comprende" and all the tacos were touched, nothing I would eat. And they don't understand "6th level guide" for Google. I'm wondering, DO YOU COMPRENDE ME NOW?? I'LL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE,

WARNING--HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!! I've ate at a lot of Mexican restaurants in and around Knoxville, but this one is the closest to actually eating tacos in Mexico. This is located in the back of a Mexican Market so don't be confused when you pull up. They have great stuff to browse through and tons of Mexican sodas, grocery items, and much more. The Pastor con Pina tacos are seriously life changing. The tacos are served with cilantro and onions as well as a lime on the side. Besides the tacos, I recommend the chicken chimichanga (with grilled chicken) and the nachos fajita mix. I literally haven't had a bad thing here. Plus they have the Mexican Coke in glass bottles, which is my favorite. Tips: They give you your ticket at the table and you pay up front. They can split your check at the register. It's seat yourself.

Best tacos in Knox. So, my wife is obsessed with this place. She has to periodically get her fix of Al Pastor. La Esperanza is her spot. The resteraunt sits in the back of a Hispanic Market, and can be easy to miss. They have a selection of REAL mexican dishes, but the tacos stand out. They come in any increment you like and are covered with chopped white onion, cilantro, and a lime wedge on the side. You are also given a couple of sauce options on the side (a verde and a rojo). This place is definitely a must try. We may see you there when she gets that urge again (which will probably be soon)

I went for the first time today after driving by it so much and I’m so glad I did!!! The food was amazing and plentiful!! I got the special fajitas which is several different meats like shrimp, chicken, steak and sausage and it was amazing!! My boyfriend and I shared it and we didn’t make a dent! I ordered two extra tacos thinking that fajitas wouldn’t be enough and boy was I wrong!! I felt a little out of place at first because of was the only non Spanish speaking person in there but everyone was super sweet! Definitely check out their butcher counter as well! It has lots of fresh meat! For $24 I walked away with lunch and...
