Don Pancho Villa — Restaurant in Kokomo

Great food and value. The service has always been just okay. Tonight we went there and they were busy but plenty of open seats. They sat us and brought chips but after about 15 minutes we asked a waiter to get us a few drinks. We were in no hurry but wanted a few drinks while we waited. The waiter which later claimed to also be the manager said we needed to just wait because they had to help other tables. I went back to the bar to try and get a couple drinks and the same guy standing right in front of the soda machine told me no one could help me and I needed to go sit down. I asked him to just grab me 2 sodas real quick and I’d take them back to my seat. He got very angry and got in my face and told me to go to my seat or leave the restaurant. We exchanged words about him getting in my personal space then he followed me back to my seat and then asked if we wanted something to drink. The two tables around us saw how he was acting and got up and left. We left also since he was being so rude and angry. He shouted “you don’t understand how stressful it is to be busy.” Dude has no idea what I do.

i hate to rate this place a one star as it WAS my go to Mexican place in Kokomo. last night my group and i experienced something none of us had EVER experienced at any restaurant. our waiter has asked us to leave because there “were tables waiting to be sat”. we’re all blown away at this point, and the guy was rude from the start anyways. we get up, embarrassed, because there’s other tables that were there BEFORE us still sitting and enjoying their meals. we walk to the front and there’s MULTIPLE dirty, empty tables and maybe 2-3 party’s waiting to be sat. we had 7 people so the bill was not cheap and we did not tip bad. this man wanted someone else in his section so he could get more money. period. it’s so unfortunate and no one should ever have to experience this just sitting down with their party and talking after we ate. utterly disappointed, no one would even do anything about it either. so...

I have said this before. The food quality, courtesy, speed of service, and staff friendless is above 5 star!! Yes, I'm a regular customer, so when I walk in, they know one of three things I want. I may not know all of the servers' names, but they all rock it!!! The cook greats me when he serves me. As he always does. By far this is the best Mexican restaurant in 50 miles!!!! Don't hesitate to stop in for a quick bite of for a church lunch for ten plus!!!! Awesome place to eat and enjoy!! Beyond highly recommend!!! My server was Chinto!! He is one of the best by far!!
