Subway — Restaurant in Kountze

If I could give them zero stars I would. Let me start out by saying we used to love this place. Always had great service. My fiancé went in a week or two ago at 8 when they were supposed to be closing at 9 and got turned away because the girl told him they had already put all the food away. I decided to call them again tonight to place an order to go. Called at 8:45 & the website said they closed at 10:00. They said they were already closed. I asked them then why does the website still say 10? She told me because they are understaffed.... it’s a tiny subway in a small town. It’s NOT busy at this time. The girls name was Jen. And she hung up on me before I could say that I would be contacting corporate. I will have to wait until the corporate office is open tomorrow to try and file a complaint but this is ridiculous. We have spent a lot of money in that place and I will never spend another...

For some reason this establishment has only been open for a few days out of the week lately. I applied for a job and still no reply.

Anyways, I wanted a cold sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwich with vegetables on a 12 inch white bun. I specifically told the manager after she had asked if I wanted my sandwich toasted. I said "No".

The chicken is pre-cooked! Now that I've said that. Anyways, she takes the precooked chicken and puts the meat in the toaster to heat up the meat. I told her that I did not want the meat toasted and she commences to telling me how it's subway policy for her to recook the pre-cooked chicken.

Yeah I wasn't very happy with the service from some lady who claimed to be the manager. I didn't want to be rude so I allowed her to finish making my sandwich, I paid for my food, then I went home and put my sandwich in the refrigerator for an hour...

Terrible Service @ the Subway in Kountze!! Trey, however you spell his name, stared at me while I was sitting in my car as he smoked a cigarette. I asked him to stop and he proceeded to keep staring. I walked into the building, and he was the the one who made my sandwich and my friends. He had an abrupt tone, and was very rude throughout the entire process of completing our order. Once we got to the counter, he proceeded to do things like throwing a paper clip as he tore it off of the change in the register, and he also handed both of us our change in a very disrespectful manner. I then told them that he didn’t have to have an attitude towards either one of us, because all I did was ask him not to stare. His response was this, “I have eyes, and i can look and whatever I want.” I will never ever come...
