Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Kutztown

I've gone two or three times since this Rita's location opened. They have indoor seating, and they're the first Rita's I've personally seen with it (other than mall locations). Due to that fact, they're gonna be open until the day before Thanksgiving rather than the end of September like other locations. They have a good amount of flavors, and a lot of custard flavors too. The staff and owner are friendly and kind. I believe there might be a party room here too. My husband has ordered the frozen pumpkin coffee both times we've been together, and he says it's much better than Dunkin. It's closer to the Kutztown University campus, too, so it's more convenient for him to get coffee here. Plus, we get rewards each time with the app, and I got a free small ice on my birthday. The first time he got the coffee was because of a coupon on the app, and I don't doubt that we'll be getting more, both through promotions and just by getting ice or...

Rita's is seriously our go to when it comes to icy treats, and our family can't get enough of their awesome water ice. Every time we swing by, we're greeted with smiles, and the whole place just radiates good vibes.

But what we're really hooked on is their mint chocolate chip water ice. It's like a scoop of happiness in every bite! We can't get enough of it, and we keep dropping hints hoping they'll make it a permanent flavor. Fingers crossed!

Rita's has this crazy array of flavors, and you can tell they put love into making their treats. Whether you're in the mood for a classic taste or something adventurous, they've got you covered.

Had a wonderful experience here! Our little one accidentally knocked her treat onto the floor, and before we could even get it cleaned up the owner had already made her a replacement and brought it to the table free of charge (and a sticker).
